ISLAM IN SCHOOLS II: WHAT YOU CAN DO

A number of responders choose to write me private e-mails instead of posting comments, which is fine, although the rest of the interested readers do not get the advantage of the information they convey if they don’t post.

Writing these essays requires saying much in as few words as possible. Books can be written about it. For the sake of brevity in articles, information is often omitted which may be less striking or important. Rest assured, the separation curtain between religion and state in public schools is thinning by the day as the introduction of Islam into public schools is getting more pervasive. As it does, the Islamists become more emboldened. Why? Because we, the Americans who are incensed, are laying down. Oh well. Nothing we can do.

Part of the jihad plan, is going after the young. The college kids. And the kids in our schools. I’m not making it up, folks. Why do you think the Saudis have poured multi-millions of dollars into scores of American universities, like Harvard ($28 millions) and Georgetown ($20 million) and Berkley ($20 millions)…and so on. They don’t do it for nothing. There is a kick back, and that kick back is foot baths, mosques, prayer rooms, Islamic professors, Islamic student organizations, and freedom of expression….unlike freedom of expresion in…? Where else? Saudi Arabia.

Some of you have brought other facts and articles to my attention, which I will share (below). But the most over riding question is: What can we do about it?

Here’s some suggestions:

1 – Speak out! Raise hell! Show our outrage. Write your congressional representatives, your governors, and your local school boards demanding adherence to the state/religion separation edict, which goes for Islam as well as Christians and Jews.

2 – Write letters to your newspapers, and the network/cable news stations admonishing them for failing to cover this as a major problem in America…not to mention the hypocrisy.

3 – If schools will not prohibit the introduction of Islam into schools, contact your priests, pastors and rabbis and start insisting on equal time, with indoctrination of public school kids with Christianity and Judaism. Demand copies of the Torah and the Bible on campus, with prayer rooms and prayer time set aside for people of all religions.

4 – Demonstrate (lawfully) outside any school that endorses the indoctrination of Islam into public schools. Get the attention of the media!

5 – Write/contact the ACLU and demand the same legal action from them as they would (and have done) when Christianity or other religions was introduced into public schools.

There is one organization in the U.S. which is actively engaged in the fight against creeping Shariah. Led by Lebanese-born Brigitte Gabriel, ACT for America has the active support over 71,000 Americans (and growing) who are doing what they can to offset this terrible trend. They have made a mark on capitol hill with their lobbyists and counter-measures to the spread of Shariah and, they are an information base for any American who cares about this menace. Over 500 local chapters are now actively meeting and disseminating data as it comes forward, with speakers and updated videos and literature. I urge those who care about this threat to check it out. I am not a joiner of organizations. I’m disillusioned with our political parties, which is why I am Independent. But ACT for America is worthwhile. They could use your support.

  1. Marshall, do you also do all these things?

  2. I agree with you on every point except a portion of #1. The Christian religion should be allowed, if not required, to be taught in all schools…and nothing of Islam allowed anywhere in America. I mean no teachings, no Mosques, no face covering apparel, anything that has any notion of promoting anything to do with Islam. These people are not our friends in any fashion, they all are dedicated in some manner to the destruction of Christiana and the American way of life.
Seems we are forgetting this IS a Christian nation and made up of all walks of life from Christian origins. Islam is more of a cause than a religion, and it is directed at the destruction of Christiana and the American way of life, so therefore it should not be allowed in America. When we opent he doors to allow a sect of people to enter and then attempt to devour us from inside, then we are crazy. There is a time to draw the line and it is past time.

  3. I disagree entirely with Mr. Kennerly. Christianity is simply one religion, Islam is another. Judaism, Buddhism, or any other philosophy has equal rights of practice in this country. NONE has the right to take over the country, and NONE should be taught in the public shools. The Constitution gives us FREEDOM of religion, and I am one of several million in this country who believe that means freedom FROM religion if we so desire. The Constitution clearly states that there shall SEPARATION of Church and State. It did not put Christianity into the public schools. Some local school districts across the country chose to have Christian prayers in public schools, and got away with it. The town I grew up in was not one of them, although we had Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist and Episcopalian churches. Families took their children to church on Sundays; there was a Catholic school for those who wished their children to go there. All others went to the public school. I taught school in both Detroit and Las Vegas over a period of 33 years. There was NO prayer in the public schools in either city. In Detroit there was a large Jewish population in one part of the city. Those children were excused from school on their special holy days, but there was NO time set aside for them to pray in school.

And I am thoroughly disgusted about the communities in this country who are discarding our Constitution and bowing down to the Muslims who are being allowed to bring their religion into our public schools. With all the screaming and shouting that those Republicans are doing to unseat Obama, why aren’t they out there screaming and shouting about this Islamism creeping into our country–some Muslims are shouting in New York about how they are going to overthrow our Western culture, and they are proving they can do it! Do we wait till Shariah law starts killing all homosexuals and all woman must cover their bodies?

  4. My hat is off to Pat Wilson. Nothing left for me to say. Thanks Pat.

  5. Pat Wilson needs to reread the first amendment to the Constitution again. It does not say anything about the seperation of church and state. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,”. This is restriction on government telling you where you will worship and it will not be allowed to interfer with our right to worship how we feel fit. Ther is no defined wall that limits anyone where they will exercise their right to worship.

I could go on longer own the subject of the way that some read or don’t read the constitution but enough for now.

Keep up the good work Marshall.

  6. Jim correctly reported on Dec 12, that “congress shall make no law, etc., PROHIBITING free excercise of religion. So how do the ACLU and thier fellow travelers get manger scenes, 10 commandment tablets, et. al., banned from public places?

As a Jew, I MISS seeing so many people publicly enjoying those displays of celebration and happiness, when the PC police don’t prevent them. Most of the US is Christian. I know of no Jew who opposes open Christmas celebration, and many Jews volunteer on Christmas day to perform jobs that allow public servants to be at home with their families on that day. Mutual respect among religions should be common in our country, and damn those groups in their misguided self interst who oppose open celebration of all religious freedom. I very seldom saw discrimination in the military during the 30 years I wore my country’s uniform, even in the early 60’s and 70’s, and I shouldn’t see it now in civilian life.

Discrimination for or against any selected religions, like allowing Muslim but not Christian practices in public institutions, is abominable. So are the ACLU and others promoting it.

  7. I believe that only parents should decide which religious education (or none) their children receive. The public schools run the risk of subverting parental authority by allowing religious practices.
Denominational schools are fine for kids, but it’s confusing (perhaps even under-
mining) to allow religious education in public schools.
