What is going on at FOX News? Must be a Viagra epidemic.
We all hear about accusations of sexual harassment in the public arena, but this is more like a tsunami. Are there any newsmen at FOX that are able to control their libido?
Or …is there more to the story. Let’s start with Herman Cain…not necessarily about FOX…but, actually it is.
Remember the 2011-2012 primary election? Barack Obama was well-grounded in his second campaign to remain the first black president. But wait, during the primary campaigns, another prominent black man – a Republican no less — happened to rise to Number One in the Republican polls.
Can’t have that.
Herman Cain was a successful black businessman, a conservative supporter of the Tea Party. After winning Florida, his poll numbers catapulted him as the top Republican candidate. Amazingly, three women suddenly emerged from obscurity to allege that Mr. Cain had made improper sexual advances, one of them as far back as 1997. One of these accusers just happened to reside in the same apartment building as David Axelrod, former senior advisor to, of all people, President Obama. The leaks got out. Cain’s poll numbers took a dive. In the interest of his professional and personal life, Mr. Cain opted to drop out and return to the private sector, all the time, absolutely denying any improper behavior.
The assertions worked.
Here we are in the post-2016 election period in which most people, including the avid pro-Hillary media outlets, were certain she was going to win. She didn’t.
It’s no secret, even to CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times and the Washington Post, that it was a shocking development, indeed. After all, Hillary had five times the money and 90 percent of media endorsements, plus her foundation with which to funnel billions of dollars. She couldn’t lose, but – she did. That not only derailed Hillary’s dream to be a first woman president, it derailed the Obama machine which was sure to cash in with the many favors owed him before and during the campaign. In other words, voting for Hillary, was a vote to retain the power of Obama.
The night of the election, left-wing news panels were rife with “professionals” who were apoplectic over Hillary losing. You’d think it was a funeral. Some commentators wept. So, what have we seen since? A left wing surge of resistance against the Republican Party, and a continuing campaign by leftist journalists doing whatever they can to derail the presidency of Donald Trump. I could cite many examples, but this article would be way too long.
See what else has emerged in the months since the election. Bear in mind, a major thorn horn to the broad-based left-wing movement, is a sole right-wing movement called FOX News…the only news outlet that is mostly, — conservative.
It worked with Herman Cain. Why can’t it work with all other Republicans?
They must have looked long a hard for this one, but either there were no accusations of immoral behavior, or there were no accusers readily available. Nevertheless, if you dig hard enough, you’re bound to find something.
In 2005, Billy Bush was a host to television show, “Access Hollywood,” for which Donald Trump, business man, was scheduled to appear as guest. Before going on air, he and Trump had a private conversation in a bus which Bush secretly taped. Trump must have felt comfortable with Bush, so he rambled into sex talk about being popular and famous and able to gain sexual freedoms with women…being somewhat explicit.
This little gem (tape) remained a secret for eleven years until a month before the 2016 election, when it was released – by someone unknown (ahem) – to the Washington Post, obviously in an attempt to derail Trump’s election. Trump acknowledged the conversation, claimed it was nothing more than “locker room talk” and publicly apologized to his entire family.
The big boss at FOX and second only to owner, Rupert Murdoch managed the news giant to become Number One – by far — among cable networks over the last twenty years. Yet, Ailes was canned, though a full examination of accusations gives rise to a degree of probable validity. Ailes (portly and not physically handsome at age 77) was accused by a number of prominent newswomen/commentators of unwanted sexual advances who happen to be beautiful and famous, namely Andrea Tanteros, Megyn Kelly, Gretchen Carlson and Greta Van Sustern.
Ailes died in May of this year following a fall which resulted in a subdural hematoma. All of the above-named women are since gone from FOX News for one reason or another. Some law suits are still pending.
My belief is that there must have been merit to the accusations. Not only were these women beautiful, they were independently wealthy and certainly had no financial or career motives for lying or exaggerating these confrontations. Chalk it off to one dirty-old-man who thought he was too rich and important. That does happen sometimes. (Bill Cosby?) Too bad. Ailes had a profound impact on the news industry and enormous respect throughout as a superb manager.
(Before moving on…a special notation readers should be aware of. The Rupert Murdoch power bloc at FOX has shifted in the last year to Robert and Lachlan Murdoch, sons of Rupert, who are known to have a more liberal political bias than their father. See link, below from the NY Times)
Number #1, king of nightly news analysis and commentary for nearly 20 years. Out of the woodwork, suddenly come five women, this past April, alleging he had made improper advances, for which Mr. O’Reilly paid money ($13 million) to keep the law suits out of the courtrooms. O’Reilly has publicly and adamantly denied all these accusations, and in one interview was quoted, “Look, the entire ordeal was a hit job, and in the weeks to come, we will be able to explain some of it,” O’Reilly also said. “It really has to do with destroying voices that the far-left doesn’t like.” He said he “made the payments to protect his children” Also, that his fame makes him a target.
He went on: “There’s going to be an exposition soon, but I can’t tell you when or who exactly this crew is that terrorizes sponsors, threatens people behind the scenes, that pays people to say things. We’re going to name them, and it will be a big story. The left-wing media will downplay the story, but it’s coming. Unfortunately, I was target No. 1. It’s sad for me, for my family and it’s grossly dishonest. From now on when I’m attacked, I’ll take legal action.”
(See link, below)
Time will tell. As for me, this whole deal does not pass the smell test. Regardless of one’s political standing, O’Reilly is probably the most savvy commentator in cable news, with a solid standing in the communities he lives and works within, and now, suddenly…he’s a sex maniac?
I look for O’Reilly to come out fighting. If the sudden explosion of sexual accusations against conservative commentators wasn’t so coincidental…knowing that there is a massive effort under way to discredit Trump and FOX News by the left, it might be more believable.
There’s more on that coming up.
Here’s another brilliant man from FOX Business network, one of the most respected black commentators in the business, now suddenly suspended for allegedly harassing a woman. Pay attention to this one…
In an article by Derek Hawkins in the Washington Post:
“The suspension came after the National Enquirer on Wednesday published an article in which Payne admitted to carrying on a three-year ‘romantic relationship’ with a married female political analyst who was a regular guest on FOX Business, and apologized to his wife, children and friends.
“The Los Angeles Times, citing anonymous sources, reported Thursday afternoon that the unidentified woman had contacted Fox’s outside lawyers and alleged she was “coerced into a sexual relationship with Payne under threat of reprisals.” The woman, who worked for CNN last year, told the lawyers that she was blackballed from the network after she tried to end the relationship and report Payne to Fox News executives, according to the Times.”
Coerced into a relationship? Are you kidding me?
This is a woman who had an illicit and consensual affair with Charles Payne. How does that translate to sexual harassment? Also, who is this woman who had recently been employed by CNN Cable News, the arch enemy of conservatism?
Very coincidental, following O’Reilly and Ailes.
Another smell test problem.
Horowitz was a FOX News sports executive who was abruptly fired after the Los Angeles Times cited an unnamed source — (did I say unnamed source?) — claiming sexual harassment allegations in the Sports Division. Sports Illustrated also cited anonymous sources that Horowitz, himself, was being investigated for allegations by FOX’s Human Resources Department. Horowitz’s lawyer told the Washington Post that he was never warned or told about any such misconduct.
Shine resigned as co-president of the FOX channel on May 1 amid the fallout from harassment allegations. Shine was accused in several lawsuits of failing to take action to stop sexual harassment at the company. Reuters reported that Shine’s departure was part of a concerted effort by 21st Century Fox owner Rupert Murdoch to clean up the station following the revelations.
Another conservative commentator bites the dust. Bolling was a regular on The Five and many other FOX programs over the last few years, often subbing for Bill O’Reilly. On August 4th, Bolling was handed his walking papers by FOX for allegedly sending graphic sex pictures via internet to three different women. According to Newsweek:
“On Friday it was reported that Fox News host Eric Bolling was accused of sending unsolicited explicit pictures to three female colleagues. The women who received the messages allege they were sent from Bolling’s number, reported Huffington Post, citing 14 sources.”
One of the alleged victims, was Caroline Heldman, who alleged that Bolling was one of three FOX employees who made advances to her. Bolling is accused of sending lewd, graphic sex pictures from his phone.
“It’s ain’t over til it’s over” said Yogi Berra. Five days after Bollings dismissal, he filed a $50 million lawsuit against the journalist, Yashar Ali, who penned the story. Bolling claims it to be totally false. Ms. Heldman (the alleged victim) is a professor at Occidental College (Obama’s alma mater) and has appeared frequently in hundreds of television shows for many networks, including al Jazeera.
Bolling and his lawyers didn’t waste any time going on the offensive against journalist, Yashar Ali, declaiming the story.
It is almost absurd to think that someone of the position and character of Eric Bolling would be so bold and sick, to take pictures of his body parts to show them off to other women.
The results will eventually come out. But as for me, this is another stinker.
No, they haven’t got him yet…but this conservative giant is definitely in the next cross hairs of the far left radicals to have him eliminated. And if you don’t believe this, PLEASE take a look at THIS WEB SITE which tells all:
This is the source of the rotten smell tests.
The campaign to destroy FOX News and all the conservative pundits within, is controlled by Media Matters and Moveon.org…two powerful, left-wing movements dedicated to the future making this country into a one-party government, and abating free speech which is not in concert with left-wing ideology.
According to all the research, the primary financier is none other than George Soros. If you don’t know that name, suggest you do some homework. It’s all about de-democrasizing this country.
Is it all coming clear now?
