Once again, the world standing of the United States has dropped another critical notch on the international front.  Only this time, it was a quite coup under the radar. Few people have heard about it. But it is VERY significant.

While the Olympic Games were going on in mid-February, most people were not aware that a significant powwow took place in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Chief of the Egyptian Army, Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.  In the meeting, Putin pledged economic assistance to Egypt’s new government and further supported al-Sisi’s projected run to be Egypt’s next president.

     And where is the U.S.?

We’re out.  Our relationship with secular Egypt is history.

Egypt is the strongest nation in the Arab world, with whom the U.S. has enjoyed a strong and important allied relationship for the last thirty years. That also strengthened the security situation for Israel who relied on our ties to Egypt, one of only two counties that signed a peace accord with the Jewish state when Carter was president.

How did this all fall apart?

The so-called Arab Spring which started in 2011 was nothing more than a monstrous planned take-over of Islamic countries by the notorious Muslim Brotherhood. It was supported by the U.S. President Barack Obama.  Playing to the objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama openly called for the ouster of Egypt President Hosni Mubarak, our ally. He also called for the ouster of Lybia’s Moammar Ghadaffi, even deploying military support of “rebels” (i.e. Muslim Brotherhood terrorists) without gaining approval of congress. We all know the end result in Lybia:  al Qaeda, al-Sharia, and a new Islamist government which helped to murder our Ambassador, and three other Americans two years ago.

When the Muslim Brotherhood first gained control of the government under Mohammed Morsi, the few Jewish synagogues were destroyed along with more than 40 Christian churches throughout Egypt. Islamic extremism was in, moderation was out.

The Obama administration supported these pro-Morsi uprisings.

But it backfired. In 2013, the Egyptian people – by the mega-millions – took to the streets in major cities and virtually ousted the Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi government because they knew it was now or never: They wanted to be free; they wanted to be secular; they wanted nothing to do with the fundamentalism of the Muslim Brotherhood. It was similar to the Nazi takeover of 1932-33, only the German people didn’t see what was coming, the Egyptians did. So the Egyptians took back their country, arrested Morsi and declared the Muslim Brotherhood illegal, as it had been when Mubarak was president.

All of these upheavals and consequent killings would never have occurred, had it not been for the support of the Muslim Brotherhood by the U.S. government.

Feeling betrayed, the Egyptian people turned against the United States government, feeling betrayed. In cities like Cairo and Alexandria, citizens hoisted banners everywhere declaring Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.S. Ambassador Anne Patterson and President Barack Obama as supporters of terrorism, unwelcomed in Egypt.

The American mainstream media played all this down, including Fox News, but the facts are out there for anyone willing to dig for answers. The American government is now persona non-gratia in Egypt – the most important Arab nation in the middle east.

Fault clearly lies at the doorstep of the White House and the Obama administration, who has been cozying with the Muslim Brotherhood since taking office. When the Egyptian takeover failed, thanks to the free-spirited Egyptian people, the U.S. relationship died. We’re no longer trusted. A new and unwanted foreign relations vacuum has predictably been filled by another nation: Russia.

     Putin wins again.

Click here: Putin Backs an al-Sisi Egypt Presidency in Moscow Meeting |

While our attention is directed toward other international venues, our eyes are no longer focused on the colossal failure in Egypt. While the American people might by ignorant of the egregious actions of our administration, the Egyptian people are certainly up-to-date. They have to be. They had the most to lose. When the domestic rebellion against the Muslim Brotherhood hit the streets of major cities there, ubiquitous signs and placards clearly expressed the people’s disdain for the Obama team. (see photos below)

These people are not right-wing nuts. These people are not fans of  Fox News. They are not liberal or conservative. They are not racists. They are freedom-loving Egyptian people who refused to live under the yoke of Islamic fascism.

Check out these images from Egypt when the anti-Morsi, anti-Muslim Brotherhood rebellion was going on. (This is just a sampling)

This should be a book, not an article, there is so much to the story.  But when it’s all analyzed, ask yourselves: How are we doing on the international stage?  Would there have been a so-called Arab Spring (Muslim Brotherhood uprising) if not for the backing of Barack Obama?  Considering all the destruction and deaths that followed, whose hands are stained with the blood of those people?

Another failure for the current Neville Chamberlain in the white house. I see where Kerry (who served in Viet Nam) is now crowing about how he is hopeful for the peace process and talks involving Ukraine and Crimea. What a panty waste of a joke. Putin is not worried about the peace process. He now controls Crimea. And if anyone is naïve enough to think he will cede it back, well, I have a bridge to sell you.
Like good old Hilly says…”What difference does it make.”

So, we secretly lost an ally in Egypt. That not only is on the back of Ohaha, it is on the back of Hilly. A recent survey of DEMOCRATS who were asked what significant thing did Hilly do as secretary of State, was very telling. Not one could answer – other than
“things seem better in the world”. And what spider hole are they living in? OMG.

At least Hilly’s popularity is beginning to wane. As it should. She is a large bag of waste stuffed in a pant suit. No wonder Bill is a snake.

Egypt was one of my favorite countries. I sadly watched it crumble. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton facilitated the overthrow of President Mubarak. Yes, Mubarak was somewhat of a dictator but with values. While in Cairo I was able to walk the streets in safety and attend any Christian church without any fear of harm. Ms Clinton felt safe travel and freedoms were insufficient reasons to maintain support for one of our strongest allies in the mid east.

  6. David Lee Valdina March 6, 2014 at 11:44 am #

The United States has no business playing world policeman. From a pragmatic point of view we should be supporting Egypt and Russia both in their opposition to the Muslim Brotherhood.

    • Chris March 6, 2014 at 12:15 pm #

David…no truer words were ever written. We cannot lose sight of the FACT that the Muslim Brotherhood is a bigger threat to our overall safety than Putin or Russia. Radical Islamic activity is on the rise, and they DO intend to strike us again. And again. And again.

And that pissant in the white house is turning a blind eye.

Today there are many conflicting stories. The media lies, the president lies, the congress lies, the movies depict a warring U.S. and our people sit by idly, twiddling their thumbs.

It is unfortunate, but a reality in my mind, that we will one day the not too distant future be at war again…and this time we had best have great bomb shelters and other protections in place because I think we are going to need them..

Ousting this president (notice no capitalization for it this time) is the answer for our future and sending the Clintons off to some foreign country would be nice too, how about Venezuela?

  8. David Lee Valdina March 6, 2014 at 11:57 am #

My thoughts on bomb shelters and major war, we won’t have one. As long as we have a strong nuclear force any large enough country to attack us in a way that we would need bomb shelters would be quickly eliminated. So I do not fear China or Russia. It is the little and stupid nations and organizations that are more of a worry. The threat of radical Islam is very real, and has been world wide for over a thousand years. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. The big counties threatened by this radical Islam should stand together in opposing it. That those of us who stand against it don’t share the same political structure should not matter. Our country, as every other country, has made allies when in self interest. Our politically correct friends who want to wave the morality flag have conveniently forgotten much history. We need to do what must be done, but no more than that. We have enough problems running our own lives without taking on the responsibility of meddling in other’s lives.

For those who think “Barry” ought to resign, how would you feel with Biden as president? The only objective answer is to retake the House and Senate this November and make Obama truly a lame duck president. I fear, however, we will lose out to apathy. Getting people who care to the polls will not be an easy task. Lately the Democrats have been much better than the Republicans at mustering votes, some even from cemeteries. If we lose in November and again in 2016, we may have a permanent Democrat occupant in the White House. And that will surely happen if the Republicans don’t come together and heal their party.

Regarding the feeling that we should not be the world policemen, don’t forget that for years it was highly beneficial for us to assume that role. It worked and saved many lives. But it depended on the political climate of this country. We were considered to be the number one nation in the world, prepared to defend liberty and justice throughout the globe. No nation dared to challenge us since we were the most powerful militarily, financially, and technologically. We had many allies that would be willing to support us in any crisis. Unfortunately, that time has long passed. Our leaders are no longer interested in justice or liberty, but only political gain. Our president has shifted the support of America to the enemies of those countries who have been our allies for years. Our financial situation is abysmal, our military forces have been decimated, we have alienated our best allies, and none of our enemies fear us. Russia, North Korea and Iran laugh at the empty threats from our White House. I seriously fear whether or or not we can survive for the next three years until we can remove the Marxist/Communist faction from our government.

REB…An EMP attack has been a concern of mine since I read ONE SECOND AFTER, a fabulous book by William R. Forstchen. If the modern day Nazi’s (Muslim and Islamic fanatics) get this done, we are back in the stone age. The grid goes down, because every computer in the country goes down. That includes the computers in every car/truck made after a certain date…the only vehicles that will operate would be from the early 70’s and back. And those would operate only as long as there is fuel for them…which would be a very short time.
Thus, no transportation of anything…no food, no gas, no heating oil, no power to run anything. BTW, if you are flying in a plane when it happens, you are going to crash, because the pulse will fry the computers in the plane, and render the plane powerless.

How long would it take to have riots in every major cities? (a few hours and every store would be stripped of food/water). The book estimates that a city like NYC would (in 1 year) have a death rate of nearly 100% – leaving a mere 25000 people alive out of 9 million.

There has been a small ray of hope lately, as FNC has a weekend show with Judge Jeanine Pirro who has been harping on this exact topic. There has been some movement towards shielding the grid from that kind of attack. However, keep in mind there will be virtually NO transportation of any food or fuel for what could be a half year or more. What happens when the entitlement crowd (or for that matter anyone) goes to their market, and finds that shelves have not and CANNOT be restocked? Our military which is being shrunk by the obamanator, and which only has a few…very few “hardened” vehicles, can’t transport the quantity needed. Besides, our farmers would not have the “hardened” equipment to keep producing and then distribute. Again, farmers would have no fuel to run equipment. Can you say cannibalism followed by mass starvation? When you consolidate the people in cities, like the obamanator advocates, they become dependent on things that will not exist…for as much as a year or more…and who can avoid starvation in a period of a year? Anyone who hoarded food supplies to sustain themselves, will have to defend them with all force necessary. You won’t be dialing 911 to get help, because the cops might not be able to get to you. Unless they have enough horses. Thus, back to the stone age. BTW, those electric cars (if the power grid survived) ALL operate with an internal computer, which would be fried.

REB, I have learned that I am not a racist, but I am a bigot. I have grown to dislike…EXTREMELY…Nazi/socialists which include radical/Islamists, communists, “progressives”, uber-liberals and stupidity. They are synonymous – because stupidity is voting emotionally, and not rationally and using facts and logic. Idealism is a wonderful fantasy, but just that. Actions – not fantasy.

Obama and Washington, D.C. are a reflection of the people that have elected a government out of complete ignorance and indifference regarding the consequences of their ballots. In earlier times the fabric of the American people was much stronger than the torn fabric Obama has created today. We are not the people that fought WW II and I am not sure we have the spirit as a nation to take on another global conflict.

Ignorant people put an ignorant, corrupt and cowardly government in charge of a once great nations future.

What threat will it take to bind us together again? Hmmmm.

  15. Ron Fischer March 7, 2014 at 1:09 am #

Joe Biden was Obama’s insurance against impeachment!

I have never been able to figure something out; “is the absence of a serious impeachment trial due to the fact that Joe Biden is the option, or is it because Obama is the first black president?”

Obama is America’s second biggest threat; the people that voted for him are THE BIGGEST THREAT.

  16. Steve Gure March 7, 2014 at 10:27 am #

Again you are correct. Obama backed Morsi and the Muslin Brotherhood under the guise that they were freely elected by the Egyptian people. When these people decided that the Brotherhood was not for them and revolted, Obama did not want to hear it. Now, ironically, Putin is using the same argument in Ukraine. Obama does not want to hear this but is now using it as his own theory. A strong Israel whose many interests connect to the new Egypt hopefully will keep American interests alive in Egypt. The administration is responsible for the creation of a lot of upheaval and their policies do not make any sense to me. But there is nothing we can do about it for the rest of Obama’s term in office.

Snake Hunter: I took the time to read your link regarding EMP and we are in complete agreement on the subject. Like you, I too am a veteran (Vietnam, early years).

There are several catastrophic threats in the world. Fearing them is not a reasonable key to survival nor is it a prudent motive to resolve them. I am an “old guy” born in the 20th Century, living in the 21st Century and missing the relative simplicity of the 19th Century!

I have learned that knowledge is of two paths; one path elevates fear (as in Obama) and another elevates hope (as in constructive ambition and the next generation).

Just because the planet now supports over 7 billion people does not necessarily mean that humans have actually learned enough to perpetuate the species! You are right about EMP’s and the potential solutions, but they will be replaced with other fears before the implementation of solutions can be achieved.

Their idea always was that the world was for them and the rest of us could just get lost. Ayers well said it when he matter of factly stated that twenty five million people would have to be liquidated for refusing to go along with his vision of a communist utopia.

I never thought I’d see myself rooting for our “enemies” of sorts, but for me, Russia’s partnering with Egypt is a positive thing. Now that Egypt has outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, they have a partner with balls after the U.S. made threats to cut aid and support. This may be one point where radical Islam’s spread can be halted. I also hope that Russia will stand by it’s friend Syria, if help is needed there.

In my opinion, we have made a mess of the Middle East. In some ways, our government may not have liked Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarak, Muammar Gaddafi, Pres. Assad, and others, however, there was more stability under their rule, and they were able to maintain some degree of control over what are basically ancient, barbaric, primitive cultures. Aside from oil, the Middle East has had nothing to offer or contribute culturally.

    • Chris March 8, 2014 at 11:23 am #

You are on target Ray. Once we are able to wean ourselves from using any mid east oil, they are free to sell it to China or whoever, and when they run out, and that is going to happen, the middle east countries who have failed to invest in modern infrastructure, irrigation, etc., will go back to the stone age. I suspect that the world is in a partnership transition that will continue through America’s next presidential elections.

In the meantime, Russia will be adopting new territories, including Egypt. Obama has done a significant amount of damage to America in many areas. But Russia and the rest of the world is well aware of how resilient America can be and nobody wants to be the distraction to America’s internal unrest. We may “appear” to be weak. It would be a huge mistake to test the fabric.

Causing estrangements with allies whilst cozying up to enemies seems the foreign policy, while turning against law abiding citizens is the domestic policy. Sounds like communism. Run from the top for benefit of those who know best, who will take our guns and ration our energy and food and restrict our travel, as communists always without fail do.

Communism is a very good system for those at the top. Lenin’s mistake was in putting himself at the top of a country which was in the very early stages of advancement. But now the communists who’ve at last taken America have it all, the computers, the boats, the great cars, the planes, big screen TV, everything they’ve so long coveted is theirs for the taking.

  31. Chris March 15, 2014 at 9:59 am #

You are right about communists…and those at the top. Our ill gotten president is one of those who rose up by never making, producing, inventing, or working an honest day in his life. His drug addled past is largely ignored by the media, and glorified by late night TV. Unbelievable. He promised everything to everyone, and has hurt the poor more than any president in our history. Like all communists, Nazi/socialists, and progressives, he wants to implement bioethics on the masses. Hitler, in a bioethicist’s mind, was on the right track, he just did it for the wrong reasons. It has started here with obamacare, which was sold to the country as a panacea for the uninsured. Fortunately, it is imploding, and has covered so few “uninsured” folks, that even some party liners can’t defend it any more with a strait face. Pride, and the desire to subjugate us all, will block the repeal of obamacare until we are rid of this disgrace.

Besides, a good commie/Nazi/socialist/progressive always says the reason some program they tout did not work in the past, was because THEY didn’t do it. In other words “give ME a chance, so I can do it right.” Meanwhile, elimination of the elderly, the chronically sick, the disabled, the mentally challenged, and the deformed are in the cross hairs of obummer and his evil minions…”to make others be able to enjoy life more fully.” Nice. They don’t CARE if it is bad, evil, or doesn’t work. It is all about power.

Anyone want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge? Look at all the toll money you can collect.

Frankly, the future looks more like a collection of tribal anarchists rather than legitimate countries with reliable governments. Egypt is taking on a genuine struggle to actually establish a consensus government supported by the people of Egypt.

The “people of Egypt” brings to mind a good question; “how does Egypt handle its accountability for citizenship in the first place?” In fact, I’ve wondered how most countries actually know who is a citizen and who isn’t. Our own country is being overrun by illegal aliens and I have never believed that our government knows much about how many there are or who they are.

If I were a non-terrestrial alien I would easily come to the conclusion that even the United States is a hodge podge of tribal conflicts! We once were a fairly tight-knit country, but drugs and socially irresponsible voters have changed that.

When we get our own country back, we can be more critical of other countries and their alliances. Russia and Egypt aren’t exactly a bed of roses!

Still believe that if we’d hire Putin…we’d be back to the level of the “50’ies and 60’ies in no time – the world be damned – come to us for hand-outs belay the UN – Kerry (as Bad as “obema”) – will run for President next time out – with his Catsup money he’ll be a sure contender!

Stop worrying about Egypt and the rest of those “nil-will’ers”, give more aid to the Israeli’s, with their help they can straighten out- Egypt and the other nit-wits will be out-of-it pounding clay in bricks and tending their goats!

When requested of funds by the Republican Party (???) – tell they to “straighten-up and fly right” – no funds for the nit-wits of mine

    Have a great week…

The Egyptian General Staff Are United, determined to maintain a broad secular political path, as the world has just seen. The U.S. State Department should now be encouraging a smooth diplomatic rapport with “the powers that be” in Egypt… not “worrying” about Vladimir Putin.

The November Elections, New Blood in the U.S. Senate Could Signal The Turning Point.

If a majority of our citizens have seen enough of Harry Reid – Nancy Pelosi odd-ball governance with their “progressive-democracy” with Obama-Care, we must end it!

Only Then, might we quickly see a return to sanity with a right-of-center philosophy taking hold, We can create a business-friendly environment bringing the investor money back, that could jump-start hundreds of thousands of new jobs in a variety of business enterprises, create new projects, and stimulate a dormant, “entitlement”, food-stamp mentality It is mind-numbing, and discouraging to see able-bodied folks that want 40-hour full employment, standing in line for a government hand-out.

Energy Independence from Saudi Arabia is a solid example

The Keystone XL Pipeline from Alberta to the Gulf of Mexico will end Barack H. Obama’ foot-dragging; Hydro-Fracking Technology is here to stay, with the promise of LPG and CNG Available At Every Truck Stop Across This Nation! It is possible…. but we need Term Limits in the House & Senate… New Leadership in the Oval Office.
