How do you hide from an obvious scandal?  Pretend it isn’t there and let the time run out the clock.

Benghazi, Fast & Furious, harassing news agencies, and the IRS targeting select groups because of their conservative politics. The list goes on.

When Nixon and Clinton were slammed with serious questions concerning possible crimes and the integrity of a sitting president, independent special prosecutors were rightfully assigned to conduct the investigation and , if necessary, reach a legal conclusion holding the guilty parties accountable for their egregious actions.

This will not happen in the Obama administration. We, the people, are not privileged to basic honesty in government.

Consider this:  The humongous IRS investigation – in which evidence exists that the government was ordering special targets for non-profit status and audits based on conservative leanings – has been assigned to a top trial lawyer in the Justice Department for investigation. Her name is Barbara Kay Bosserman. She works directly under Eric Holder.

     So what? You say?

Barbara Kay Bosserman is a major contributor to the Obama campaigns in 2008 and 2012, now with personal donations of over $6000 invested in assuring her a $160,000 a year job. Is this not the ultimate in conflict of interest? As a loyal presidential bootlicker, there is NO WAY she can conduct an independent and objective investigation into the actions of the IRS, and hold the guilty parties accountable, particularly if they are close to the president, or the president himself.

That would be like assigning a lawyer for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) the role of prosecuting the Muslim Brotherhood. They’re all part of the same ideology.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media continues to echo the democratic mantra that these are all “phony” scandals. The administration says they have more important and pressing issues to attend to.  In other words, let’s all drop it. That’s old news. Forget about it. Let time pass. “What difference does it make?” (Shhh – maybe it will go away)

We can let time pass but it doesn’t make the people in the administration and less culpable in their roles of obstructing justice. If anyone has been obstructing justice, it has been the Attorney General himself, who has been caught lying to congress more than once in his efforts to protect the president.

It is eight months since the scandal became public. So far, zilch. No one is being held responsible.

For the American people, this is a simple act of arrogance: A classic, ‘In Your Face.’ The appointment of  Barbara Kay Bosserman is one of the most audacious acts perpetrated by Holder. She is a devout follower and contributor of Barack Obama who at the very least, cannot be objective and neutral, and at the worst, can rightfully be perceived as a protectorate who will go to all lengths to prevent disgrace to cloak the White House.

The disgrace, in fact, belongs to the White House for approving a grossly biased investigation. This is not seeking justice. It’s obstructing it.

I have less and less respect for Government every day, and I suspect many of us feel the same way. But our Government reflects a large portion of the people in this country, who are also not worthy of respect. And this is the same with much of our news reporting. It is hard to see how the old standards of honor, morality, hard work, self discipline and tolerance can make a comeback. Maybe a revolution of sorts is in our future ? I guess time will tell, but I suspect I won’t be around to see it. My generation is at fault for failing to pass down a better world for our children and grandchildren to live in.

From the Supreme Leader’s orchestrating IRS investigations into targeting Conservatives, to the Ben Ghazi murders that have been covered up, to El Supremo’s dictator like proclamations which magically change laws and make law circumventing Congress, this guy makes Nixon look like a Sunday school teacher. This cretin is nothing but a communist, trained up by Saul Alinsky, and a guy whose name is the reverse of our esteemed moderator, one Frank Marshall, noted bisexual and communist. What arrogance.

This is how Obama was trained:

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

    1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people

    2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to
control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

    3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

    4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

    5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

    6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

    7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools

    8) Class Warfare –Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent
and it will be easier to
take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

By February 27th 2014 the IRS will pretty much neutralize conservative groups in America such as the Tea Parties, After that date, absolutely nothing stands in the way of the IRS adopting such proposed rules. If the IRS new rules on 501 (c) 4s’ are allowed to stand it will give Obama even more power and influence over voter influences then he is already trying to implement.

The Obama administration is conducting a “silent Coup” against the Tea parties by attempting to implement “The Disclose Act”—a bill that was rejected by Congress in 2012. The Obama administration is attempting to dictate through the IRS, a law that Congress rejected. By doing this, the administration is subverting the separation of powers..

At that point only the courts could intervene, declaring the rules as a unconstitutional violation of separation of powers.

Tea Party and other conservative groups are being targeted by these new guidelines

Prevent citizens from holding public officials accountable

Cause citizens to be silenced and eradicate the purpose of grassroots groups

Create a different set of rules and standards for various 501c groups—a charitable organization could engage in more activities than grassroots groups

Force citizens to obtain important candidate information from brief TV ads and the slanted media rather than from a more direct information flow that comes from candidate debates, forums and face-to-face townehall meetings

Treat virtually everything a grassroots organizations does as candidate-related activities

Require by force that in even-numbered years organizations remove legislative voting records from their websites

Turn legislative voting records into a taxable, non-primary purpose activity of a c4 organization

Force meetings with public officials to become events that are taxable, even when the official appears as an “official” and not as a candidate

Force internal membership communications to become taxable if a candidate or public official is mentioned or if a group has more than 500 members who will receive the communication

Proclaim selected activities to be ‘candidate-related’ political activities even if the candidate is not mentioned

Give labor unions, universities, social clubs, churches, veterans groups, business groups and others to have greater First Amendment rights than grassroots citizens organizations

As you can see these efforts are dangerous and they are a way for the Obama Administration to crush the conservative movements Ist Amendment Rights.

This election will be like 2012. Except the forces arrayed against Republicans and the middle class will be probably doubled. They have most of the media, databases from Hell and the power of almost all of the gov’t agencies and departments to intimidate the people that built this country and made it great. Then add an almost unlimited budget (our money)to make it happen

It ain’t gonna be nice. Mackle has the opening salvos.

Marshall, I don’t even know where to start. We have a government cabal under Obama doing all these things, and there seems to be no recourse. I hate to sound ignorant, but is there no recourse when our high ranking public officials flaunt the law, and there is nobody there to hold them account? A high ranking IRS official taking the 5th amendment, and we are more concerned about traffic on the George Washington Bridge?

As I said in my previous response to one of your posts, I now have more respect for Putin and Snowden, than I have for the scum in control of our country.

I was also able to recover some old stuff on my computer, the quote that I mentioned. It was by Art Buchwald: “Americans have a ten day mentality.” It fits in with typical political strategy and American apathy these days. Let some time pass, go to Hawaii for 17 days, and everything will be okay. I agree with some of your respondents. I am glad that I am the age I am at. Let the useful idiots who support Obama live with his “change.” I will be long gone. While alive, I will support my country, as I knew it.

And Eric Holder didn’t feel there was a need to investigate/prosecute the New Panther Party people with fatigues and billy clubs at the Philadelphia voting sight! Really? It shows you what we have in government now and what we can expect in our future..

Marshall, I am as disgusted as anyone with the current administration and the illegal and underhanded way they are skirting the Constitution, but I also have much disgust for the Republican members of Congress who can’t seem to get their act together. Some of the top Republicans, such as Chris Christie, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and Lindsey Graham are being heavily labeled as RINOs, and many others have gained the ire of conservatives for supporting progressive initiatives such as TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program), illegal immigrant amnesty, START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty), cap and tax, and the DREAM Act (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors).

Meantime there is infighting between the various factions of the Republican party which keeps them from working towards a common goal, that of defeating the Democrats in 2014 and 2016, and gaining control of both the House and the Senate, as well as eliminating Socialists and Communists in the White House.

I’m surprised that the conservative members of the House have not attempted to shut down the illegal actions of president Obama and his administration through censure and impeachment. Obviously, there is enough proof now to proceed with these actions. There are employees of the IRS, DOE, ATF, GSA, EPA, and VA that have committed acts that should have resulted in their firing or facing criminal charges, yet in most cases virtually nothing has transpired. Attorney General Eric Holder has lied under oath to Congressional fact-finding committees yet has never had to pay the consequences. Considering the Benghazi scandal, someone in the administration is literally “getting away with murder”. Where are the members of Congress with the cojones to take action against these criminals?

  12. Ron Kenerly January 31, 2014 at 9:19 am #

Everyone out there knows and understands the problem. The big problem is the House and the Senate. Obama and his administration is like a unruly child, they will do as they want until corrected. We have vivid evidence of this with the way our society is today after having a couple of generations of kids growing up without discipline because the government said you cannot spank you kid. Looks like the government is now assured that it can be unruly and cannot be spanked. The sad part of this is, it appears that the House and the Senate are now enjoying the same whims. Some may appear to be at odds with the occurrences of the administration but apparently they are concurring with the administration because they are not taking any steps to correct these matters other than a lot of lip service and finger pointing. They are not doing what is best for the country and are flipping their finger at the public who gave them this responsibility and authority to act, so where does the public go next for salvation of this quagmire? Unfortunately they must look in the closets, drawers, garages and safes it seems.

  13. SharG February 3, 2014 at 8:54 am #

With Obama’s disregard of the U.S. Constitution, why not send him a carton of toilet tissue with the words U.S. Constitution printed on each tissue? That will suffice until he signs an executive order to remove the real one from the Library of Congress and installs it in his bathroom. After all, in essence, that is what he is doing now.

Why aren’t his lies enough for impeachment? Even the liberals, while they ignore what he is doing, are becoming disgusted with lies from this administration. Not just the IRS scandal but, the lies coming from almost everyone in his organization. They either lie or take the 5th amendment. Then they just keep marching on doing either the same thing or something equal to it.

This is the most dangerous president in history. Almost every day the White House puts out the comments that the news does not really mean what you think it means.

We are becoming a nation that is receding back to 2001 and are more open to terrorist and countries with nuclear weapons. This week it was reported that Assad has retained 95 percent of his WMD stockpile while continuing to miss the deadlines to hand over his weapons. One newspaper commented:

“But do not worry. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel is on the case. “The United States is concerned that the Syrian government is behind in delivering these chemical weapons and precursor materials on time, and with the schedule that was agreed to,” he said in a statement from Poland. And if that is not enough to get Assad back on schedule, the State Department made the hilarious claim that the MILITARY OPTION remains “ON THE TABLE.”

While our president fiddles with PR trips, leaving the running of the government to his minions he has put in high posts, that has put their minions in posts of governing our nations, we are beginning to burn like Rome.

Does all of this astound us so much that we are paralyzed to act, or our Congress paralyzed to act? What will it take to pull everyone out of this state to do something before we are lost? What can we do? Waiting until the next election may be too late.
