The number of mosques in the United States has increased 74 percent in ten years according to a study released by the Hartford Institute for Religious Research. In 2000, theU.S.reported 1209 places of worship for Muslims.  In 2010, that number has risen to 2106.  In 1990, the number stood at approximately 700. This, in a period of time when the radical Jihad side of Islam has established unwavering goals, in writing, that the United States is in their crosshairs for being conquered …from within.

This 74 percent growth has occurred in the years following the deadliest warring attack on American soil in history, perpetrated by radical Islamists. Might point out, that those “radical” Islamists spent many months prior to the 9/11 attack posing as “moderates” in order to assimilate and evade suspicion. Look up: Taqiyya.

True, many of these mosques are only places of worship for peaceful Muslims. But it has been proven often enough, that some mosques are used as hotbeds for anti-American rhetoric, terrorist havens, diversionary funding to terror organizations and espousing hatred toward non-Muslims. Many serve as the war rooms for strategy planning in the covert political and terror war against the United States.

Mosques seem benign enough to most people who liken them to churches and synagogues. That’s what journalist Laura Mansfield thought in 2005, when she visited a mosque in the southern part of the nation in response to an open invitation by the Imam to local women to come and see how beautiful Islam truly is as a religion.

Ms. Mansfield arrived about one hour early. It should have been an innocuous experience. She was told by a Muslim man to come back later, but when she asked to stay, she was granted the opportunity to wait in the hall until the other women arrived.  During this time, she was able to overhear the Imam and other men speaking in Arabic, which she understood and spoke fluently. What she overheard was anti-American hate talk, discussing the pro-jihad movement and what to explain to the American women when they visited. When the   ladies arrived, the rhetoric changed 180 degrees.

Now, covert visits to mosques are off-limits for everyone, including law enforcement agencies, because our government tells us we should not single out Muslims. Federal law enforcement agencies have been ordered to omit references to Islam in their terror training.

I seriously doubt that the Christian or Jewish places of worship have exploded with those kinds of increases in the last twenty years. If the pattern holds true, there will be more than 4000 mosques in the U.S.by the year 2020, and 8000 by 2030.

The trend will follow what has happened in Europe. In a 2008 speech by Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders said:

“There are now thousands of mosques throughoutEurope. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.”

Islam is rapidly expanding throughout Europe. Population growth is expected to double in twenty years as Muslims procreate at a rate three to four times greater than indigenous Europeans. It’s simple math. As Mr. Wilders and other European dignitaries have said, the Muslims do not assimilate. They do not identify as Europeans, rather, as Muslims only, and their intent is to eventually dominate all of society.

France has over 750 no-go zones which are Muslim enclaves that French authorities dare not enter, thus leaving them all to self-government under Sharia, not French law. More from Mr. Wilders’ speech:

“Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and MalmoinSweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities. In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. In once-tolerantAmsterdam, gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear “whore, whore.” In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can in many cases no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity. In England Sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.”

The plan that is slowly coming to fruition was concocted and implemented by the notorious Muslim Brotherhood, the most powerful and dangerous Islamist organization in the world. They are now ready to assume power in all the mid-east nations that have undergone “Arab Spring.” They are rooted in over eighty counties in the world, have unlimited financial resources and have spawned scores of organizations, violent and non-violent — including Hamas and al Qaeda —  to promote the global jihad. They also spawned more than thirty organizations in the United States with the expressed purpose of infiltrating our infrastructure. Included among those organizations are CAIR, the MSA, ISNA and the MAS.

The Muslim Brotherhood manifesto was discovered in 2004 during the Holy Land Foundation investigation by law enforcement authorities in a sub-basement of a home in Virginia, owned by a high level member of the Muslim Brotherhood. That manifesto is unambiguous in declaring that the intentions of the Brotherhood is to destroy the United States “from within,” specifically stating it will be accomplished by “their own hand.”  The entire text of the document is linked below…in Arabic and English.

They’ve also authored other covert documents, since discovered, which outlines the strategies and tactics they intend on using to accomplish their mission within a 100-year span. That includes the use of mass deception, to portray themselves as “moderate,” to infiltrate the government, schools, media, prisons and to use our constitutional protections of religion and free speech as tools for their operational maneuvers.

Interesting to note, that there are three top White House advisors now employed in the White House, several in the Department of Homeland Security and more in the Justice Department. That, plus a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, who is closely aligned to the Muslim Sisterhood via her mother and the Brotherhood via her own brother.

Can’t get much higher than all that.

And, this is what we do know. One can only imagine what we don’t know.

We can see it all happening, yet we’re powerless to do anything other than exercise the right of free speech and use the power to vote. We certainly cannot rely on our government officials who only care about the short range; Get elected, get reelected.

This is the most sober article I’ve read on this subject and to be totally honest, it’s downright scary and why our next president (can only pray Obama is kicked to the curb) has to be tough as nails and cleanse these thugs from our government, stop all muslim immigration and dismantle CAIR, the MSA & others.

    • MikeKu March 16, 2012 at 6:13 pm #

President Obama has nothing to do with this; that is a canard of the worst type. The problem is that Moslems want to get out of the miserable lives they led in most Moslem/Sharia countries. Our society is most tolerant as we believe in freedom of religion,
Press, speech, assembly, etc. something that Sharia law does not. Moslems like our freedoms but do not want to assimilate into our society and continue to have large families. Europe is experiencing a demographic invasion and its even worse there since Europeans have almost stopped producing children while the Islamic women average 8 kids; it is a disaster in the marking. Some European countries have woken up to the problem but it may already be too late. The UK will be Moslem in 50 years; just look at the data.

The US must restrict the open door policy particularly to those who want to use our system to bring it down. In Dearborn Michigan, an Imam has called for the end of the the U.S. government and replace it with a caliphate. In the UK similar calls have been made.

Defenders claim that these are the extremes, maybe so but just by numbers Islam is the fastest rising religion, if that’s what you call it (I call it a cult) and will dominate where ever
it settles promulgating its primitive style of life, its exploitation of women, its lack of freedoms (God forbid you want to leave Islam–your head will leave with it).

If we want to keep our democracy, than Islam cannot be allowed to expand at its current rate; its a very tough call but to preserve our own system, our welfare and freedoms some restrictions have to be enforced.

I agree with everything you say EXCEPT that Obama has nothing to do with this. He has publically stated HE IS A MUSLIM. He has also stated he is a Christian. Which is it? I am not excusing any of the past presidents here…don’t get me wrong.

Tolerance of a social/political/economic/ and cult as you say, makes him implicitly involved. The next president had better wise up and recognize this and put a stop to it, before we all have to have prayer rugs.

Marshall, I sincerely hope many of your followers read this soon. One of the biggest problems we face as a nation is that the vast majority of Americans are grossly ignorant about Islam, especially the Muslim Brotherhood, and see no reason to be concerned. Even a cursory internet search will produce many articles about how quickly Islam is taking over Europe; but, for some reason the articles don’t seem to resonate with our citizens.

It isn’t politically correct to recount Islamic history or point out the strategy and tactics Muslims are using to achieve their goal of world domination and one can be accused of being Islamophobic for even writing articles that are marginally critical of Islam or Sharia Law. Pointing out the downsides of Sharia Law, particularly how it affects the lives of women, will draw criticisms like a magnet from our own citizens and authorities. It’s almost as through we are either proud of our ignorance or afraid to speak out.

You are one of the few writers I know who regularly speaks up about this issue. Thank God for the ACT organization, which is sounding a modest alarm throughout our society. I say modest because, while their message is critically important, it isn’t reaching a very large percentage of our population.

As you know, it is extremely difficult to get a guest article in Florida Today about any aspect of Islam, particularly if it is even slightly critical of the Muslim religion, culture, lack of assimilation, or long range goals. About the only thing you see in Florida Today are articles that speak about tolerance for other cultures such as Islam.

Muslims generally fly under the radar by pretending that Islam is just another religion. It is not. It is much, much more than that. It is an ideology, a way of life and some how we must get that message across to our citizens before it is too late.

Chronicles 7:14 reads, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Note that it doesn’t say ‘vote’ is says pray. How many of us do that? The enemy’s legions pray five times a day. Note, too that it says “MY People”. We can’t control what others do, we can only control us. If we will be HIS people, and humble ourselves and pray, He will heal this land. The thing I’ve discovered in my own life is that I’ll humble myself, or I’ll eventually be humbled. I think this is happening nationally right now. We will not humble ourselves so He’s going to help us with that.

  4. Paul March 16, 2012 at 4:17 pm #

Additionally, Deuteronomy 28 starting at verse 7 reads:

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

4 “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

9 “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

16 “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.

17 “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

18 “Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

19 “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.

20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me. 21 The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from the land which you are going to possess. 22 The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever, with the sword, with scorching, and with mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish. 23 And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron. 24 The Lord will change the rain of your land to powder and dust; from the heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.

25 “The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them; and you shall become troublesome to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 Your carcasses shall be food for all the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and no one shall frighten them away. 27 The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed. 28 The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.

30 “You shall betroth a wife, but another man shall lie with her; you shall build a house, but you shall not dwell in it; you shall plant a vineyard, but shall not gather its grapes. 31 Your ox shall be slaughtered before your eyes, but you shall not eat of it; your donkey shall be violently taken away from before you, and shall not be restored to you; your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have no one to rescue them. 32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all day long; and there shall be no strength in your hand. 33 A nation whom you have not known shall eat the fruit of your land and the produce of your labor, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually. 34 So you shall be driven mad because of the sight which your eyes see. 35 The Lord will strike you in the knees and on the legs with severe boils which cannot be healed, and from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.

36 “The Lord will bring you and the king whom you set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods—wood and stone. 37 And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all nations where the Lord will drive you.

38 “You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for the locust shall consume it. 39 You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. 40 You shall have olive trees throughout all your territory, but you shall not anoint yourself with the oil; for your olives shall drop off. 41 You shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours; for they shall go into captivity. 42 Locusts shall consume all your trees and the produce of your land.

43 “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

45 “Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. 46 And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and on your descendants forever.

47 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. 49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young. 51 And they shall eat the increase of your livestock and the produce of your land, until you are destroyed; they shall not leave you grain or new wine or oil, or the increase of your cattle or the offspring of your flocks, until they have destroyed you.

52 “They shall besiege you at all your gates until your high and fortified walls, in which you trust, come down throughout all your land; and they shall besiege you at all your gates throughout all your land which the Lord your God has given you. 53 You shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you. 54 The sensitive and very refined man among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the rest of his children whom he leaves behind, 55 so that he will not give any of them the flesh of his children whom he will eat, because he has nothing left in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at all your gates. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and sensitivity, will refuse[a] to the husband of her bosom, and to her son and her daughter, 57 her placenta which comes out from between her feet and her children whom she bears; for she will eat them secretly for lack of everything in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at all your gates.

58 “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, 59 then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues—great and prolonged plagues—and serious and prolonged sicknesses. 60 Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. 61 Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed. 62 You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God. 63 And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.

64 “Then the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone. 65 And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul. 66 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life. 67 In the morning you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were evening!’ And at evening you shall say, ‘Oh, that it were morning!’ because of the fear which terrifies your heart, and because of the sight which your eyes see.

68 “And the Lord will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, ‘You shall never see it again.’ And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

    Good Captain:

The current and past 4 president’s have promoted Islam as the “peaceful, moderate and tolerant religion.

Obamanation believes that the Muslim call to prayer is “The sweetest sound on earth”
In fact, there aren’t any Muslims with a small “M”. The tenants of Islam demand “The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them,” Qur’an 8:59.

And anyone leaving the faith: Burkhari: V4B52N260: The Prophet said, “If a Muslim discards his religion – kill him.”

There are 25+ great roaring, mostly Suni ( publicized ), Mosques in San Diego county serving an estimated faithful of 100,000+ http://www.salatomatic.com/c/San-Diego-Metro+18

There are numerous other Mosques masquerading under the titles of “Muslim Educational Centers” and Islamic Centers. There are storefront Musallah’s (Mosques) popping up like Starbucks all over the county.

Then there are the covert Mosques in homes and apartments where the faithful meet secretly practicing counter surveillance. One was posing as a Tupperware party meeting. A Tupperware party that only males attended. One might wonder what the surreptitious faithful are planning.

Should a fraction of 1% of San Diego’s Muslim’s act as insurgents in a fifth column, we are in a lot of trouble.

Right on good Captain – WRITE ON! Cordially, Yoda@magnifiedview.com / Islamophobe

P.S.: Know Islam, know terrorism. No Islam, no terrorism.

  6. Chris March 16, 2012 at 5:41 pm #

I can’t wait to see the hate posts you will get on this one. I believe you will be called everything from a bigot to an Islamophobe.

Will we ignore that history shows:

Radical muslims blew up the Marine barracks in Beirut, bombed the WTC before they took it down with planes, attempted to blow up the Kohl, and have attempted any number of attacks we were fortunate enough to thwart since 9-11. Forget about the successful attacks in Europe. And what does their so called holy book say about all this? It applauds it.

Read THEIR book, and you will see where we are headed. To just pass this off as another “religion” (HA), is an invitation to disaster. Since Obama has publically said he is a Christian, and also publically said he is a Muslim, we have no idea what he truly believes. Maybe he is an athiest, as one of your bloggers recently stated. Hate it for him, but he will be a Muslim target. They hate athiest, agnostics, Jews, Christians, and homosexuals. They have a big list!!! This looks to be a political agendas, not a religion, even if you mix God in here and there. A true examination of Islam should make even the biggest doubting Thomas or Thomasina question calling this a religion.

For those so called “enlightened” people (who will undoubtedly be joining hands singing Kumbaya while being beheaded), and who have lately been attempting to take over the dialog on your blog, Marshall, I wonder what they would do when a sword was held to their neck, and they were told to become followers of Allah, or they will be beheaded right then and there. I wonder just how the “feminists” who are writing lately will feel when Sharia Law controls them completely. No drivers license. Covering your entire body. The right of your husband to beat you or rape you. And homosexuals? Beheaded.
Unconstitutional? (Well, there are judges here and now who are using Sharia Law to decide cases which may involve one party who is a Muslim, and the other party who is not.) Also, there are areas right here in the good old USA that adhere strictly to Sharia Law, and the rest of us be damned.
The Q’uran gives the Muslim the right to lie and cheat in the name of Islam. And this is to be recognized as some kind of peace loving religion? As far as I know, the so called “moderate” Muslims still use the same Q’uran as the more radical ones. What is written in their book is not a matter of translation of what it says, rather it is either adhered to, or ignored. Who picks what they will follow, or ignore?

However, the irony that Europe’s increasing Muslim population is causing them to have problems that we have in the United States because of the large Christian population, is priceless.

  7. Chris March 16, 2012 at 5:42 pm #

    Bring it on.

  8. reality March 16, 2012 at 6:32 pm #

Chris, Muslim Emad Salem told the FBI in NYC that Ramzi Yousef was being helped by a small, dark muslim with a limp, who was usually with a big tall red-headed Egyptian muslim. All the FBI had to do to find the apt. bldg where Ramzi was building the bomb for the 1st attack on the WTC, was FOLLOW those 2. THEY DID NOT. They would not listen, even as Emad kept risking his life to contact the FBI. After the attack, the phone company was able to find Ramzi’s family in Baluchistan, because he had used a phony card for his calls. The FBI did not find Ramzi for many years. In fact, it was our STATE dept. who caught him. And after the first attack, Giuliani puts the emergency center on the 13th floor of the WTC, so he can walk there from his office, and have an apt there for Bernie Kierkuk to use for his affairs, apparently. And Giuliani refuses improve the radio communication system so the police and firemen can talk to each other. But it’s so much easier to blame Muslims, right?

    • Chris March 16, 2012 at 6:50 pm #

So let me get this strait. It was not Muslims who drove airplanes into the WTC, financed by and led by Muslim Osama Bin Ladin? It was not Muslims who bombed the WTC in the 90’s? It was not Muslims who ran a bomb into the Kohl? It was not Muslims who blew up the train station in Spain? Muslims had nothing to do with the murder of hundreds of US Marines in Beirut? We have not arrested numerous Muslims in the US since 9/11?

Just what reality do you live in? Easier to blame Muslims? Who did all these things…George Soros? Or was it Mickey Mouse?

      • sinmantyx March 17, 2012 at 6:50 am #

The people who did those things were the people who did those things. If you frame the issue as Islam vs. the West; you discourage fruitful working relationships with Muslim allies against the individuals and the groups that are current combatants and promote radicalization – not to mention further polarizing the entire frickin’ world.

        • Chris March 17, 2012 at 2:38 pm #

The people who did those things are radical Muslims.

They have one desire. Kill everyone who does not believe their way.

I think that is sort of polorizing.

          • sinmantyx March 17, 2012 at 9:08 pm #

Yeah – it is. So quit buying into their version of reality by giving them the conflict they want.

The Muslims in my community recently had a rally. They had Syrian Republic flags (a symbol of the Syrian uprising) with signs that said “Stop the massacre.”

Many of the Muslims in my city are ethnically Somali.

I think they have bigger fish to fry than any sort of clandestine long-term attempt at bringing Islamic theocracy to the United States.

We can talk about tactics if you want to – because I’m not keen on theocracy either. However, positive eugenics (having lots of babies), whole-sale collective blame or a Christian theocratic opposition ARE NOT ANY OF THEM.

I would be more inclined to stop talking “assimilation” and start talking about “integration”; stop giving combative groups good reasons to really hate various Western governments to curtail radicalization; and stand by our commitment to religious liberty, freedom of speech and equal protection under the law.

wow its wimps like you that in 50 years will say, DAMN they were right! That’s the U.S. now. You’re just sitting on your apologetic fantasy world where Christian moderates are better than Islamic moderates.

You don’t see fascism when you are in power.

We could always just unite against theocracy and blasphemy laws; supporting judicial precedent such as the Lemon Test and limiting religious privilege….or you can have your war over whose prophets are more righteous.

I certainly do not defend Islam or Moslems. However, Americans are notoriously ignorant about U.S. involvement
in Islamic affairs dating back to the Barbary wars. The U.S. has interfered in the Middle East since our inception
culminating by the greatest blunder in US foreign policy (thank you George Bush the gift that keeps on giving)
invasion of Iraq. Friends criticized me when I said that an invasion of Iraq would be a disaster. Why, they asked?
I said “because we cannot get out.” That is the same with Afghanistan. “Afghanistan is not kind to strangers” is an
old saying and judging by its history, this is true. Ask Alexander the Great, the British, the Russians, etc. we should
have learned by their experience but we had a President who did not understand the implications of his actions and
we lost thousands of our best men and women and about $2 trillion.

Since we are a democracy and a freedom loving people, we are treading on very thin ice about restricting who
comes into this country and as a person who came here in his youth, I am always grateful for what this country
has given me and my family. However these are different times and there are people who would like to end
what we cherish most and impose a system whose history is marked by murder, dictatorships, exploitation of
women, assassinations, etc. If you want to come here, then join us in this open society, take off your veils,
use our freedoms to enhance your existence, not renounce what it offers you.

We are in WWIII and have been for sometime. A battle between Western philosophy and beliefs versus Islamic
Sharia, backwardness and injustice. That’s the bottom line and Moslem numbers in our schools, Mosques,
beliefs and Sharia all spell an end to what we believe. We must be vigilant and be ready to defend our

There is a rather fast solution to our being in Afghanistan and iraq.
      Bring the troops home.

They should be advised, however, if they intend to bring their Jihad to the
      U. S. again, we will make a giant glass bowl out of the country that sponsers the terrorism. No more going over there to rid them of a petty dictator like Hussein…just one big boom.

I agree with the rest of your posting…..and as writing goes, fairly good syntrax; but NEVER think obama isn’t the muslim he pretends not to be. Luke 21:20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Chis, what about the Oklahoma city bombing? What about Milt Bearden and all the other Congresspeople & CIA personnel and President Reagan, who thought a Jihad against the “godless Commies” was a great idea. Were they Christians, handing out maybe $2 Billion worth of weapons, including Stinger missiles, to Muslims in Afghanistan, and calling muslims from all over to come and help? And when 500,000 of our troops parked themselves on many brand new bases in the Mideast during the First Gulf War, would you not expect ANY people, muslim, Christian, or Jewish, to get mad, and want the invaders out? “The Swamp Fox” was a Christian, wasn’t he? Stop defining people by religion. “Kinder, Küche, and Kirche” was Hitler’s motto, and the church was Christian.

I am not defining people by religion. You only read what you want to read, as is typical with the uber left.

I have repeatedly REPEATEDLY stated that Islam in NOT a religion. It is a political movement (fascist, sexist, with dictator overtones) that is intent on taking over the world with their wacked out ideas. Sharia Law is here in the US now…NOW.

Do you think fascism is a good thing? Who did Hitler employ to help kill Jews before and during WW2? Do not presume to lecture me on defining people by their religion. Islam is no more a religion than Reality is.

Why don’t you just say what you mean – you hate theocracy, right? Would it really matter which theocracy?

The term “Islam” is not understood the way you explain it by a great number of people – and it is specific to a specific religion.

Would you prefer Christian Identity to be in control? Of course not.

So, unless you want to alienate every Muslim people who might agree with secular governance, don’t make it about fighting against Islam.

If you actually want a theocracy as long as it is YOUR theocracy, then we are still enemies.

Informed rational freedom loving people have all the reasons in the world to fear islam. The twin fogs of political correctness & ignorance must be dispersed before western society better understands this menace. Even a brief review of islamic theology & history quickly exposes the deadly roots of this evil ideology.

Mohamhead was a 7th century murdering warlord who rose to power on a river of blood surrounded by thugs and gangsters using intimidation, violence, deception and trickery to expand their criminal empire while mercilessly suppressing and killing their opponents and enriching themselves on stolen booty.

The evil koran is a collection of sayings and speeches by this diabolical madman claiming divine guidance from some mythical sky-god which has inspired generations of crazed fanatics to abhorrent behavior resulting in historys worst ever crimes against humanity starting 1400 years ago and still continuing even today.

Islam is just another fascist totalitarian ideology used by power hungry fanatics on yet another quest for worldwide domination and includes all the usual human rights abuses & suppression of freedoms.

A solution needs to be created that attacks the underlying issue: foreign funding of the mosques. While laws prohibit foreign funding of certain activities in the U.S. (such as airlines), the first amendment would complicate that with respect to religious activities. And that’s the ingenuity of Islam – blending religious and political components. It makes Islam particularly adept at proliferating in democratic countries and thus fulfilling its long term objective of expanding the caliphate across the globe.

Thanks for a balanced and factual article, Frank. Most non-Muslims who comment/ support/ excuse Islam have little or no knowledge of the ideology other than propaganda and the “feel-good” offerings of the liberal media and of course our ill-informed and quick-buck hungry politicians. Islamic ideology is unique in that it offers a personal, political, legal, dietary and religious set of life instructions and to call it simply a religion is proof of never having read the Koran or any of the Hadiths. Its ascendancy in the West is due as much to the enormous population explosion that has taken place in traditionally Islamic countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East as is due to its enormous funding by oil-rich countries. Moving across the planet are millions of migrants in the guise of refugees, immigrants, businessmen and travellers carrying the message far and wide. Never in the history of the planet has such an extensive, aggressive and expensive campaign of proselyting been undertaken. History shows us that once colonised and converted by sword or missionaries and traders Muslim lands rarely revert to their original ideology Spain, Sicily and parts of Eastern Europe being the only exceptions. Islam is set upon filling the ideological and political vacuum left by the slow death of Christianity and Western cultural identity and the collapse of Marxism. Wishful thinking permeates the liberal mind set attempting to invent a mysterious reformist, moderate or liberal Islam that will be flexible and progressive and will take on board the best of Western values. This blinkered view cannot in the face of overwhelming evidence accept that Islam is adamantly fundamentalist in that its Koranic scriptures are not at all open to interpretation as of those of the post reformation New Testament. This is our undoing.

“our undoing”? This Christian nation under God drops napalm, dioxin, cluster bombs that are still taking kids’ hands off, on 3 tiny nations halfway around the world-how did Christianity interpret that? Billy Graham praying with Nixon, while Kissinger tells him not to withdraw troops because he would lose the election. We are reaping the hate, secrecy, and profiteering from weapons that we have sowed since that last worldwide conspiracy exposed our truly little faith in God.

Maybe “reality” you enjoy one separated by several black holes from mine but since when was the USA or even the UK or for that matter EU countries nothing else than secular countries in which the Christian religion has little more than a ceremonial role in government; unlike Islamic countries that are proudly non-secular. I grant you that politicians do have the liberty to express their personal religious preferences but none the less constitution does not allow any religion a direct role in government. I cannot argue that the USA has used and abused its power to do some nasty stuff but try as I might I have yet to find any government anywhere in any age of any race or religion or ideology that was possessed of any real power that did not abuse that power often in cruel ways.

What brought me to this website is an article about a promising young violinist; a sublime topic. Yet, I somehow find myself in the midst of this forum for ignorant hate mongering. The author is attempting to portray Islam as a monolithic “foreign” body creeping into the tolerant American society. This is at best a self-centered and shortsighted view, and at most malicious hate mongering. Islam is the second largest and fastest growing religion in the world. There are predominantly Muslim populations in places as culturally different as Central Asia, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and the Arab Gulf, not to mention minority populations in every continent. Each of these have their own systems of understanding and practices. In each of those communities, people go to mosques on a daily basis to pray. Trying to portray mosques in the US as some sort of underground spy meeting places is in insult to Muslim Americans, many of which have been in the country for several generations – not to mention an obvious sign of the shallow thinking of the author.

I very much look forward to the day when Americans who call themselves free open their eyes to see that hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in their name, and that despotic governments all over the world are being funded by their government to commit systematic killing and oppression. If you claim to adhere to some sort of tolerant humanism yet fail to see the inherent humanity of those killed in your name, you are nothing but a hypocrite.

  25. Jay March 24, 2012 at 5:03 pm #

    Wow . . .

I read the comments from above. I guess we all come from different backgrounds and have different opinions. I have grown up with Muslims who do not have a violent bone in their body. I have traveled around the world and have seen a lot of things.(good and bad)

Reading the title of this thread, I can’t help but to think about the Branch Davidians who stock piled aresenal. That turned into a big mess and lives were lost. BTW…I am not an expert on terrorism.

If I explained to a non Christain about what happened in Waco,Texas . .. . And then explain that they were Christains . . . . however . . . . explain the different donominations with in Christianity…..ie….Methodist, Catholic, Mormon, Baptist. I would say that perhaps there are some fanatics who have a different view of Christianity . . . . or different interpretation . . . and in the end……some might justify their belife system with violence. I would think the non Christain that I am explaining this to – – – might be confused . . . and I would hope they would not have a skewed view of Christianity.

The same thing for Islam. It’s true there are fanatics who hate. But there a lots of Muslims who do not. Where are they? I know a lot live in India.
I have spent some time in India. India is huge democracy. A huge population too. Mostly Hindu and the other half Muslim. There are quite a few Christains too.
The diversity in India reminds me of the United States. Sure the standard of living is different, but people do get along. Are there extreme groups in India? In the US we have groups like the KKK. Same thing in India, but the fanatics are small in numbers like the KKK or any other extreme groups. Most of all…these people in India people get along real well. There will always be isoloted incedents that will recieve negative attention. But we should not base those incedents on the whole nation and live in fear.

What a lot of Americans do not know, is the history of Muslims in India. If anything, they have been the unifiers in India. Also, they have made same amazing contributions in some beautiful architecture and technology such as the Taj Mahal.

I know this might sound far fetched considering what happended on September 11th and other events in the past. But I have seen different Moslems who are peaceful and have respect for others and their religion….Also, they do not have fanatic views.

What I see on this and other posts are tit for tat type response and people who can clang on the keyboard with names like “Mohamad loves Bacon” . . . . All due respect. Again . . . we are all unique and have different experiences or lack of that might influence our decisions and what we type on the keyboard.

As far as Tit for tat . . . . I could clang on the keyboard about the horrible things that fanatic Muslims have done and then someone can say things that have been done in the name of Christianity. Forcefully converting Native Americans . . . .to the Hugenots(spelling)..ect…..ect. And the list goes on.

I try not to dwell too much on the past. I admire architecture. I was in Southern Italy many years ago and saw some amazing Muslim architecture. (Because of the Moors)
Turkey has amazing Muslim architecture too . .. in fact, Islamic architecture is all over the Mediterranean. I live in Atlanta, and we have the Fabulous Fox Theater. Also the amazing Shriners Temple on Ponce De Leon Street in Atlanta.

And of course there is amazing Christain architecture that I will always admire.

I have no problems with the Mosques, but as long as it is not being used as a place to carry out violent acts or stock pile aresenal. Same thing goes for any other denomination. Again, I am not an expert on terrorism. I have no answers for investigating places of worship…..however….what happened in Waco, Texas should not be repeated with how our government officials responded to the situation.

    Thanks for letting me post!

  26. reality March 24, 2012 at 9:08 pm #

Thank you so much, Jay and Omar. And to Bwanandegi; You say this, and then immediately disprove it! “History shows us that once colonised and converted by sword or missionaries and traders Muslim lands rarely revert to their original ideology Spain, Sicily and parts of Eastern Europe being the only exceptions.” Saddam Hussein was a Muslim (Sunni), who imposed such a despotic secularism on his country, that Shia, Christians, and others all lived mixed together in peace. Reminds us of Yugoslavia under Tito, and what happened when that dictator was no more. But it was us that “broke Iraq”. And as in every country that we have invaded, undermined, imposed our will upon, some people have to flee, and they end up here. So of course we have more Muslims here, just as we have the boat people, the Hmong, Nicaraguans, etc. They are here, because we were there. And like all the other strange, scary, different looking people that have come to America, their children will not necessarily share their parents’ beliefs, and will intermarry, and eventually assimilate. Have Faith! Christians always claim FAITH. So stop running around like Chicken Little, and maybe get the old movie, “the Russians are coming”.

“Oh ye of Little Faith”, Mary Michaels? Do you not believe in Christianity and/or the Free Market system? Anne Frank believed in the essential goodness of human beings. Jesus too? And people under Communism, or under any kind of dictatorship, eventually prevail, as we saw in the Soviet Union, and even after the horrible period of the Red Guard in China. But it’s us now, that have over a million people in jail, many for Marijuana crimes. A whole family of plants that “The Intelligent Designer” put all over this earth, that has never killed anyone over the whole course of human history, has been essentially PROHIBITed, since 1970. The illegal trade in it, has led to great sums of money going to criminals, and the creation of harder to detect, more profitable, and way more dangerous drugs. This is killing or destroying the lives of way more Americans than any Muslim Extremism is doing. “Triple Cross” by Peter Lance. Emad Salem, a muslim, warned our FBI of what was going on inside a NY mosque in 1990?

  29. Christopher Jones March 29, 2012 at 9:02 pm #

The intelligent designer also put on earth rattlesnakes, copperheads, coral snakes and cotton mouths…(just mentioning the ones in the US), black widow spiders, the brown recluse, mushrooms AND poison mushrooms, a myriad of poisonous plants that will kill a human, animals that will gladly kill us and eat us. Perhaps the creator put hemp here for the purpose of making rope (and it does make a great rope), and not to poison our bodies by inhaling the smoke from it. (I gladly add tobacco in the mix as something which is also poison to our bodies.) Are we to just assume that God intends us to get high? Pretty lame argument.
Speaking of lame arguments…to say that marijuana being illegal destroys more lives than muslim extremism is without question ranks as one of the lamest arguments I have ever read on this blog. I will give you this: marijuana in itself does not intentionally go out to kill the infidels. Muslim extremists do. Marijuana can sit on the table and be benign. Muslim extremists still want to kill you. Mariuana as a plant is nice to look at as it grows. Muslim extremism is rather ugly as it grows, and is extremely hazardous to our health unless you bow down to the Muslim, and convert on the spot. Still, I don’t think that did any good for those guys whose heads were cut off and bodies burned in the middle east. And in fairness, firing up a J would not cause them to become human torches, either. I guess this is REALITY. Also, we have yet to decide what is a Muslim extremist, or a so called moderate. Is the moderate muslim the one who reads the hate filled book known as the Quran, and decides to only accept as truth what he or she wants? Is the moderate the one who stands up in the Mosque and out loud states he or she disagrees with killing infidels? (Christians, Jews, athiests, agnostics, homosexuals?) Is the moderate the one who stands up in the Mosque and says…”Hey…we can’t treat women like second class people, make them hide their bodies, not allow them to drive a car…and allow a husband to beat them.” Just asking for clarification I guess.
There is always room for discussion as to whether or not the pot laws are fair and equitable, but wow, someone is living on the other side of the rainbow in making this argument. The people in the Soviet Union did not prevail until their government was brought to their knees by the United States, incidentally. China still enforces extreme laws. Anne Frank found out in a very bad way that the essential good of humanity did not apply to her. REALITY CHECK.

  30. reality March 30, 2012 at 4:26 pm #

“The people in the Soviet Union did not prevail until their government was brought to their knees by the United States, incidentally”, says Chris. That’s just not true. Unless you are thinking of the tremendous cost in blood & treasure the Soviets spent in their 10 years in Afghanistan, which was because of “Charlie Wilson’s War”, as author George Crile called our arming and training of the Mujahideen during the Reagan years. Reagan thought a “Holy War” against the “godless Commies” was a “great idea”. And Mika’s father said “What’s a few stirred up muslims compared to freeing all of Eastern Europe”. Well, we found out. And now you claim those seeds (weeds?) we planted, are multiplying and infiltrating themselves into all the Muslim people? Hard to believe, Chris. Again, where’s your faith? And Anne Frank died, and so have many, many believers in the essential goodness of human beings, but they inspire others, and the ripples that their words and/or actions made, eventually become, or will become, mighty rivers that wash away tyranny. And Conversely, the harsh penalties for marijuana that started the “War on Drugs” in 1970, has resulted in huge sums of money going to fund terrorists and criminals. http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2009/may/20/marshall-frank-pro-con-america-winning-war-drugs-n/ “Weeds” is in its 7th season; which we just watched on Netflix-you?
And one million people in the U.S is a reality. And Police Unions paying lobbyists to fight CA’s legalization of marijuana, also is a reality. Think. Why? And why should Afghans stop growing opium poppies that earn them big money, takes little water & fertilizer, and can be transported to market on a motorbike, and grow soybeans instead? Get real. Oh, and hasn’t hemp growing been illegal even longer, since after WWII when those who make paper from trees, lobbied to get rid of their competition?

I’ve never smoked anything, Chris, but sure would like to have the FREEDOM to buy a marijuana brownie, cookie, etc., to have with a cup of tea. It is very depressing to see the long “snack” isle in the grocery store, with overweight parents asking their children to choose. Or to see so many people, with a can or bottle of some sweet liquid that they can’t seem to do without for 10 minutes. And I am paying to subsidize the growing of sugar cane, sugar beets, corn, etc. $10 Billion a year for farm subsidies, compared to $1 Billion a year for Welfare, some congressman said. The “Blue Dog Democrats” formed to protect farm subsidies. Now, if farmers were allowed to grow marijuana, they would probably wouldn’t need those subsidies, or our clean water, and all the manufactured fertilizer that has to be mined, and transported over our subsidized roads.
Long ago Louis Rukyser? remember him, said Indiana farmers produced the most marijuana in the U.S. And as to Moderate Muslims, I think like Jesse Ventura. If you need the crutch of religion, (of whatever type) go ahead. But don’t impose those rules on me.

  33. Christopher Jones April 2, 2012 at 12:53 am #

Why would you want the freedom to buy a drug? Legalizing another drug makes as much sense to me as eating a toadstool. Besides, the former users I know tell me that when you snack on the mj cookie or brownie, you get the munchies even more. If you are concerned about what is on the snack isle, you won’t be happy with the limited choices, if you start munching dope cookies.
You know, parents have to take the responsibility to be parents and tell their kids NO! Is that really so hard? It is not the government’s job to tell parents what they are allowed to do in raising their kids…it is the parents job to do it. Sugar highs were a rarity in my household while growing up. My parents did not waste money on junk food for us. Education is the key, not some moron in the Congress to make a law about some sugary cookie. If they aren’t selling, they will stop making them. Law of supply and demand.
You completely skirted the issue of the so called gentle – moderate muslims. I am asking what one is…in trying to understand why you libs are so soft on them, when they want to kill those who disagree with them. NO WHERE…repeat NO WHERE in my post do I refer to anyone needing any crutch…and EVERYWHERE do I rail out against the rules that the Islamic rads want to impose on me, you, and everyone who disagrees with them. So, back away from the cannibis cookies, re read what I asked about what makes a moderate muslim, and give me something to go on, so all the bloggers here can understand those muslims we don’t need to be afraid of, and those we do.

BY THE WAY…the subsidizing for farms…is that in cash, or tax credits? THe money we give away for people to sit on their a**es and do little else…the 1 billion…is that just federal money? What about the money the states have to ante up to put with the federal money? Your billion is a phoney number. But that’s ok. Ohaha is going to tax those evil rich people more, and that extra 80 billion he will raise over the next twelve years or so will go a long way to balancing our budget. Considering the rate we are going into debt, it works out to balancing our budget three days a year. Brilliant maneuver by the drug dealing scum who now run D.C.

And finally, I do not give one damn about Louis Rukyser, and anything he alleged. This is the 21st century…

NEWS FLASH…the 80 billion I mentioned above was just readjusted to 47 billion. This was literally broadcast on the news at 8:45AM today. The 47 billion will be collected over the next 10 years. So…considering the rate we continue to go into debt, this tax the rich scheme is nothing but class warfare by the Ohaha administration.

Chris tells me: “You completely skirted the issue of the so called gentle – moderate muslims. I am asking what one is…in trying to understand why you libs are so soft on them, when they want to kill those who disagree with them. NO WHERE…repeat NO WHERE in my post do I refer to anyone needing any crutch…and EVERYWHERE do I rail out against the rules that the Islamic rads want to impose on me, you, and everyone who disagrees with them” But you have already imposed the rule on me, that I can’t buy a simple marijuana brownie, even at 70 years of age! Obama’s stepfather seems to be a “moderate” muslim. A PBS show on the island of Bali seemed to show moderate Muslims. I remember the great sadness of the people there when a terrorist bomb killed people. How do you blame ANY religion for the actions of fanatics within their ranks? Waco? Timothy McVeigh was named after a saint, I bet. Farm subsidies pay farmers NOT to grow crops, if I remember correctly.
And don’t they get checks from the government? I don’t understand how a “tax credit” is not a subsidy, so maybe you can explain it. When FL Republicans give Digital Domain an $11 million Transferable tax credit, doesn’t every other Floridian who does Not get such a tax credit, have to make up that $11 million shortage? And can DD SELL its tax credit to like, FPL, instead of paying its electric bill? And then FPL does not pay taxes on $11 million of its profits, and DD does not pay its electric bill, so again, don’t all the rest of us FPL customers and FL taxpayers have to make up those non-payments?

70 or 700. It doesn’t matter. You want the freedom to buy something illegal. Makes no sense. There are those that wish to decriminalize drugs, but to what advantage? Is the government then legalizing behavior that will kill people, or at least injure them? You want socialized medicine with obamanationcare, but do you expect society to pay the bill for those who live or wish to live a riskier lifestyle? So, since you are so upset that some in Florida get subsidies for things they don’t benefit from, you are also upset that people who have a riskier lifestyle would pay the same for health care than people who are non smokers, non drug users, and non drinkers? Or would should we all pay the same rate for health care? So are some subsidies ok, and others not? I repeat…the sentences we have for drugs, usage, possession and sale may need to be looked at, but how do we justify legalizing something that can do harm?

If you are upset with tax credits for some companies or industries, whether in Florida or anywhere, how do you pick which ones you are against. Your pet subsidy may be the one I dislike. My pet subsidy might be the one you like too, but good old Jane Doe down the street hates it. Far better to eliminate ALL subsidies, eh? Heck, Ohaha is trying to cut tax credits for the oil industry. Fine. Stand by for higher gasoline prices. Hope you have one heck of a retirement program, and can afford $5.00 a gallon or higher gasoline. Regardless, before you pick on one subsidy to cry about, stand up and demand ALL SUBSIDIES GO AWAY, including: the so called green industry. Their tax credits far exceed anything the sugar industry now receives. And to what benefit? The stuff does not work. Why do we throw billions of dollars at green tech that does not work? Not just, incidentally in tax credits, but REAL taxpayer money. They have been getting it from both sides. And Ohaha’f friends get richer and richer. And those companies contribute to his re election. (Can you say crony capitalism?) I say if the government would get the heck out of the way, good entrepeneurs will come up with the solution. They always have. Cut back on regulations and allow American genius to rise to the surface. If we are to be weened from oil, it will only happen when a better alternative is discovered, not forced down our throats by a no-nothing bunch of beaurocratic idiots in D.C.

You say Obama’s step father “appreared” to be a moderate muslim. APPEARED??? What does that mean? Was he, like most Afghan muslim: illiterate??? (85%) Those people are marching in lock step, but cannot read the hatred in the Quran and the Haddith. We are being inundated with muslims coming in to the United States… inundated. We have areas in the US that are already muslim only areas…no one who is not a muslim can enter that area. There is one in central New York, in what I believe is Montgomery County. They buy dead cows from some of the local farmers, and butcher and sell the meat. Those dead cows were not killed for the meat, they died of unknown causes, and then get cut up. Makes you hungry for a burger. Is that a moderate position? Are the people who live there moderate? How is it that all non muslims are not allowed there? If you can go back and read my original premise…that the moderates need to stand up and be counted to disagree with Mohamed the child molester, disagree with Sharia Law, disagree with the abuse of women, and most of all stand up and be counted to say…we don’t like the idea of killing those who disagree with usnd we acknowlege that the Quran has some pretty violent ideas as well as we acknowlege that the Haddith has some pretty violent ideas. When muslims start to stand up and publically denounce those radical views, I can then identify a moderate muslim. Until then, “seeming” to see moderate muslims on the island of Bali is not going to cut it. You cite radicals found in other religions as an excuse not to be suspicious of Islam? Like when you state that Tim McVeigh has been labeled a saint? By whom? Please…cite some specifics. Pointing out crazies only serves to make thinking people suspect everything muslim…until someone stands up and draws the line that we can see that separates the loonies from the “moderates”.

Gee, Chris. Riding a motorcycle w/o a helmet is risky behavior, so is smoking cigarettes, but they’re allowed. Marijuana has never killed ANYONE. “The Intelligent Designer” made it. But a cancer victim we know, was “forced” to use artificial marijuana, because the “natural” plant was illegal. And the artificial marijuana was way, way more expensive, but her insurance co. paid. So all the customers of that ins. company ended up paying. You make no sense Chris. You want govt. out of the way of private entrepeneurs. But marijuana growers, sellers, etc. ARE private entrepeneurs. Someone sold George Washington that laudanum, unless he grew opium poppies himself. And you say “tax credits (for green energy companies) far exceed anything the sugar industry now receives.” Are you sure about that? It’s been since Castro, and in the Midwest, even longer, that farmers have been paid for not growing too many crops. And in FL, how many poisons does BIG SUGAR continue to pour into our canals? Would that filthy water that poisoned all the living creatures in the St. Lucie River have been in Lake O, if Sugar had not been subsidized? And we all DO pay more for sugar. Emad Salem was the legal Muslim immigrant who risked his life voluntarily to go undercover for the FBI. He was later the main witness in the Day of Terror trial, which put the Blind Sheik in jail. “Triple Cross”, by Peter Lance.
You still haven’t read it? And now Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito, and Kennedy say our law enforcement personnel can strip search anyone, thoroughly, that they arrest.
You’re worried about Muslims? Did you see the person that had swallowed pesticide, vomited inside the ambulance, and made the EMT’s sick, and even contaminated the emergency room at the hospital? So will police also be able to endoscope anyone as part of their search? Seems to me Americans are destroying their own freedoms in a foolish panic about muslims and DRUGS.

  38. Christopher Jones April 3, 2012 at 7:22 pm #

You are funny. I rolled on the floor at the most disjointed post yet.

But hey, if you want to ingest or inhale yet another poison (you will see I have spoken out about tobacco smoke in past posts), I further don’t care if you ride a motorcycloe with or without a helmet. Stupid is as stupid does. GO AHEAD. Really, I personally don’t care what you put in your body. You have made up your mind, so go for it. Play with rattlesnakes and copperheads, while you are at it. They are harmless…unless they happen to bite.
You statement that marijuana never killed anyone is a lie. An absolute lie. There have been untold (because we don’t have a database for such things) numbers of people who have died from marijuana use in m.v.a.’s and other “accidents”. There are people who developed cancer from the smoke, and died. But you want to buy your hash brownie. GO AHEAD. Eat it. Then sit there in your mind altered state and say….MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN, that was some good sh**. And finally, if you want to buy your mj cookie, go to California, and you can get what you want, pretty much anywhere. No one will bother you. GO FOR IT, and stop speaking in circles, which is exactly what a drug altered pot smoking (or pot eating) person does. Good lord, I policed in Woodstock, New York, and saw it, dealt with the filthy people who were pot heads…and THAT was what made me realize that legalizing it was lunacy.
Did you just finish a tasty treat before you wrote your last post? It sure looked like it to me…you are all over the map. You might try writing when you are stone cold sober. It might make more sense.

  39. reality April 4, 2012 at 6:50 pm #

Gee, Chris, I’ve never had marijuana in any form. And my mom sent me into so many taverns and the Knights of Columbus hall, to get my dad to come home, that I’ve never been drunk either; can’t even stand the smell of beer, actually. I’m 70, white, and for the first time ever, I have health problems that marijuana might help. And since 12 year olds now seem to have easy access to it, and $42 Billion a year spent trying to eradicate it hasn’t worked, I agree with Marshall Frank. http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2009/may/20/marshall-frank-pro-con-america-winning-war-drugs-n/ And Emad Salem, a legal Muslim immigrant from Egypt, did risk his life to try to stop the first WTC bombing. “Triple Cross”, by Peter Lance, has copies of many documents from the 1990’s, even, that should have alerted law enforcement. But maybe they were all out looking for “Drugs”, and property to confiscate; the sale of which police projects profit from?

    • Christopher Jones April 4, 2012 at 8:29 pm #

Well Reality, I hope the best for you with your illness. From what I have read, marijuana offers some pain relief, but unfortunately, nothing more than that. It has no medicinal (healing) value, from what I know. That said, you can get a script for it, in most places. I do not know about Florida, however. If you and your Drs. think it will help with pain, I hope you get it.
I still do not think legalizing it makes sense.

As for Muslims…you have pointed to one guy who helped out during the first WT bombing. I commend him. Maybe he is the moderate muslim I am looking for. Maybe he is the one who needs to stand up and be the leader of the moderates…so they can come out of the closet so to speak, and show the world that there is a difference. Three thousand who dies on 9-11 may rest easier. Don’t forget that Bill Clinton could have taken out Bin Laden, but chose to let him go. Maybe the powes that be were more interested in sexual encounters, than terrorism.

  40. reality April 5, 2012 at 8:09 pm #

If you know of any Dr. in FL who is allowed to prescribe marijuana, please let me know.
Us continuing to spend $42 Billion a year on “The Drug War”, destroys way more Americans than any “weed”. And you just want those who died on 9/11 to rest easy? You don’t want their deaths investigated? Still? “Move on, move on, nothing to see here, the Muslims did it? I don’t understand how you cover your eyes to the facts in “Triple Cross” by Peter Lance. Or ignore the families’ many questions in “Inside Job” by Jim Marrs. If Clinton had killed bin Laden, the plot would probably have gone ahead, as Ramzi had fooled Patrick Fitzgerald, and communicated with his cell in NYC. Why do you think even Congress is not allowed to investigate Ramzi, even now? And since President Bush, immediately stopped the drones following bin Laden, and told the CIA to “lay off” the Saudis, Richard Clark, and all the others who had been tracking the terrorists, were ignored. The attorney general, in essence, told them to stop bothering him, and Bush said: “Ok, you’ve covered your …” to the CIA guy.
