I first lauded Lt. Colonel Allen West in my blog in April of 2010, seven months before his election to the House of Representatives. It was clear then, and clearer now, that this man is the future leadership of America.
Better sooner, than later.
Remember, the most important aspect of the 2012 presidential election, is to unseat Barack Obama from the Oval Office, regardless of who runs. But that won’t happen unless the opposition nominates a winner. Rep. Allen West can be that winner.
The Democratic field is stagnant, all filing behind Barack Obama with no challengers. Thus, it is up to the Republican party to unseat the current president. Republicans should have learned a lesson from the 2008 campaign that you can’t put up a Nixon-like candidate against a Kennedy-like candidate and expect to win.
Old and sluggish versus youth and vigor is a loser.
Dull versus charismatic, is a loser.
Intellect versus oratory skill is, unfortunately, a loser.
In the modern era of sound bites, photo-ops and cameras everywhere, it doesn’t matter if a politician has moved mountains, it’s the imagery that makes a difference. Most of the current slate of possible candidates in the Republican field — while certainly qualified — are lackluster at best.
Sometimes, if we’re lucky, a candidate will come along who has charisma, brains, looks, youth, and oratory skill, and with the ability to move mountains. As far as I can see right now, the only Republican that fits that mold is Rep. Allen West, of Plantation, Florida.
His only drawback is the lack of experience in elected office. Then again, Dwight Eisenhower had zero experience in elected office. And Barack Obama did nothing in four years of elected office other than run for president.
Elected in 2010, Rep. Allen West has not indicated a desire to run for president. But he might, if a ground swell of support is overwhelming.
West retired from the U.S. Army with twenty-two years serving the country, much of it overseas in combat zones. He’s a no-nonsense pragmatist, willing to speak out on issues no one else will touch for fear of political incorrectness. And, he’s smart, very smart.
Here are some of his strengths and positions:
* Highly respected and likeable, even by Democrats and opponents
* Has not been part of the Washington establishment, thus, his fingerprints do not appear on the current economic crisis.
* A powerful and charismatic speaker who minces no words and conveys pragmatism and natural leadership
* Fiercely patriotic and true to America with no divided loyalties to any other nation or ideology.
* Willing to stand up to radical Islamists and stealth Jihadists who strive for the Islamization of America
* Health Care: Supports some parts of Obamacare, including the clause on pre-existing conditions, but cannot support in total because of too many mandates that will kill/hurt small business and worsen health care services in general
* Illegal Immigration: Strong on enforcing existing laws against illegal (note: illegal) immigrants and securing the borders as a vital measure to protect citizens of the United States
* Very strong on national security and the fight against terror and radical Islamic Jihad.
* Economy and Jobs: Revise tax codes, support small businesses through tax cuts and incentives, stop the floodgates of reckless spending.
* Energy: Strong on making America energy independent through development of natural resources on the domestic front, including natural gas, oil, wind, solar, nuclear and etc.
* Israel: “My commitment to Israel will rise above mere statements of support.”
* Judicial Constitution: Supports strict interpretation of the Constitution, including strong adherence to the first and second amendments, and the tenth amendment which limits scope on the federal government
Rep. West has yet to announce any intention on throwing his hat in the ring. If he did, I suspect the groundswell of support would flood like a tsunami. He has the style, the brains and the gravitas to defeat Barack Obama. And, he would make an outstanding president for all Americans to be proud of, regardless of party affiliation.
I urge Americans to do their homework, learn more about this fine American and support Rep. Allen West for President.

Sorry Marshall . . . .while you make a good case for West, I like Herman Cain . . .
He has business experience, and he too is a VERY powerful speaker . .
He retired as a VP from one of our larger corp’s, then brought God Father’s pizza back from the dead!
AND . . . best of all he supports the “Fair Tax” which would eliminate the IRS and put EVERYONE on a level playing field . . . no more spending days trying to do your income tax every year and all the headaches involved w/that . . .
Best way to cut spending is to keep D.C. from getting our money in the first place.
Have you not noticed that he’s acting more & more like a dandy & he started out soft-spoken, but now is acting like a know-it-all. A person w/o humility is a scary one!! One has to be willing to admit if he doesn’t know something, kinda like your doctor. And, comparing him to Allen West is well, there is none. West is BEST!!
Marshall, your article with the excellent list of qualifications of Col. Congressman Allen West is excellent. This is one that everyone else who agrees, will want to post and forward by email to friends and others who will read the LIST, and then join a group of choice to continue the communications essential in: Drafting Allen West for 2012′s Presidential Election. You are absolutely right and I agree–”better now than later”!
This is an excellent website dedicated by Constitutional Conservative Americans by any Party, for the purposes of the Draft in a similar manner as Dwight D. Eisenhower was drafted by Americans for the 1952 Presidential Election when he was elected, I believe it was. (I wore a little “I Like Ike” button to school one day, walking two blocks on Army St., San Francisco, and proud of it because of what my father told me about that little button) http://www.allenwestnation.com
Ground swell-yes, like the tsunami over our people. God will sort us out.
Mr. Frank
Why do you continue to believe that any Republican stands for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Over and over again, the GOP in Congress show huge lack of support of “open competition”; they vote nay time and again for Fed gov’t neutrality; the GOP continues to impede if not eliminate ‘collective bargaining’ both in the public and private sectors … and then, disciples of the GOP (tea party folks) … claim it is the Unions
which have destroyed America … when private sector unionization is at its lowest in 75 years (7%) … and need I remind you, the Taft-Hartley Act of 1946-47, which emerged from the fed government on behalf of “small business” in America, to permanently cut the hamstring of the Labor movement in America …
And, then … the GOP continues to claim “limited government” while fostering the largest military budget on the planet to so-called impede radical Islamic groups. Please, stop attempting to fool us into believing that the GOP or even the Democratic Party has any notion in mind about ending war against terror.
Mr. Frank … you need to read Orwell’s “1984″ over the weekend, and then, come back and re-write this useless blog.
we should start referring to the right wing nuts as “banana republicans” instead of just republicans, since they have succeeded in turning this country into a banana republic…..
Kevin, this one’s for you. It may help you understand things the mainstream media, so-called, has accomplished in America. You are looking in the wrong direction if you are a Constitutional Conservative. I always say–leave the social rhetoric and social issues to private, personal choice. When it comes to American politics as a nation–get down and REAL. It’s only a matter of time when we will know that the full history will be written about this era of American politics, from grassroots to the top. God Bless America, and God Bless People who today know and understand very well, the significance of every word our founding philosophers wrote in our U.S. Constitution. time for EVERYONE to get real, and 2012 will be the tsunami, as Marshal described. This interview on TruNews happened May 18, 2011. To everyone who realizes this–let’s get this list of links and synopsis across America now (forget about media news for Election 2012–it’s now GRASSROOTS, The People, that “we’re all” about! These links, I understand, have also got to certain elected officials, as well–and, well, we’ll see what develops.

I like West. He is smarter, better looking, and more credible than Obama.
Marshall…finally a person I can get behind and support 100%. West is a dynamic speaker, is a war hero, and has the conservative message that resounds with not just the Tea Party, but with common sense Republicans. He CAN beat the socialist imposter who continues to violate the constitution, at his will.
On another note, it is obvious that some people have apparently stopped taking their meds again.
By the way…is it May of 2008, or May of 2011. Dear leader says it is still 2008. Very confusing.
Here is one of several websites to Draft Allen West:
http://www.allenwestnation.com
Marshall,
While I don’t disagree with anything you said about Alan West, he is not known outside of Florida and I doubt he has time to win over the rest of America. And, while it is not politically correct to say so, I doubt conservative voters will take a chance on another black plitician so soon. I have not heard him mentioned on any national program.
Similar things could be said for Herman Cain, who is another great, but little known candidate.
I think Mitt Romney will likely win the nomination. He has been my favorite since the last election. He is a tough businessman, who was the only person to ever make the Olympics profitable. His biggest problem will be to get over the damage Romneycare in Mass. has done to his reputation. He isn’t very convincing when he claims it was right for Mass., but wrong for America. Even so, he still leads by a small margin in almost every poll of voter preferences for the Republican nomination.
The list of potential candidates is getting smaller every day. I would also be high on New Jersey Gov. Christie, if anyone could convince him to run. I wonder how he would react to party leaders privately begging him to run? It could happen at the convention, if they can’t unify behind one other candidate.
Obama will be tough to beat; even tougher if the Republicans don’t get their act together.
Donald…how many people knew anything about dear leader in 2006? My mom, a staunch conservative, thought (then) he looked good. We can overcome the issue of getting to know the REAL West, whereas we learned too late about dear leader.
If you are not familar with Allen West Donald, you must not
watch FOXNews. He is a frequent guest there and while I have my
differences with FOXNews, Fox does remain an alternative sourse
of cable news, to see whant MSNBC, CNN ect. don’t want you to see.
My husband loves Cain, although I know that if West is convinced sometime this summer, he and others who know of the movement to Draft West, would choose West, simply because a good choice of V.P. would cover what help is necessary for Congressional and Administrative “business acumen”. West trumps Cain on what our nation and the world is facing right along with the fiscal issues we were hit with. Husband also agrees that many Americans would not tend to go for another Black President so soon–unless they could see for themselves, Allen West in his OWN words consistently. Here is the Congressman Allen West Channel on YouTube, where your friends and associates can hear for themselves why West stands out over all the rest: http://www.youtube.com/user/AllenWestFL#p/u/18/hPbhTJ4hDTk
Just think–a properly elected, qualified Black American Citizen, who would be the FIRST legal, eligible Black U.S. President. It may be one reason, why unless there is also a tsunami for West, he would naturally shy away from putting HIMSELF out there after only being elected to Congress in 2010. He has consistently left the door open “to God”, but as he scans the landscape where the war zone is active–he’s leaving the final word to events that cause his own constituency to give the “Go”, while in the meantime he focuses on getting the experience in government that he himself believes he has been given the time to use with full dedication on his point.
Allen West is one of those Americans who are so correct and have the solid foundational American Character that, when he walks into a room his very presence already inspires others, without a word from him. God Bless him, for all he will be doing for America in these true war times on our horizon. We’ve got to face this now–there is a war coming, and Cain doesn’t have that expertise as good a man as he is and with business acumen we need, as well. It’s still possible West will be drafted as a V.P. instead, but it would take a good strong republican for the Presidency, and I’m not big on Romney because of the taint of socialist health care under his tenure as Governor, and his name ON that program.
Here is something else that has been waiting in the wings, behind the political stage today: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2011/05/25/palins_secret_weapon_new_film_to_premiere_in_june_109949.html
We haven’t heard anything yet from Sarah Palin, but she hasn’t really been out of the running even still. Some think that teamed with Allen West as a V.P. this could be the winning ticket. The feature film was designed similarly to one that catapulted Ronald Reagan in his beginnings, as well. We’ll see, but anything is possible. Under God, the right Constitutional Conservative will be “placed” to run in Election 2012. God sustained American Colonists and Early American leaders through a Revolution and the establishment of a government by The People, and I do not doubt God is sustaining us through these terrible trials today. We’ve had a new lesson to learn out of all this, as The People: we were intended to be far more informed and involved in the issues and events of our government at all levels in America–than simply being sure we went to the polls and cast votes. We ARE the government–from the grassroots up, and we’d better stay in it all the way through, even given what we may believe is God’s divine touch both to show us where we went wrong, and to help us get over all hurdles and booby-traps in our path to restoring America to our even greater CAPACITY for world peace and understanding. This must occur over the next decade and more leading to what is believed to be the true, natural new era of humanity on the earth. All else will pass away through “natural causes”….
Yes, I could support Allan West. I don’t know if he could gain the name recongnnition he needs in a short amount of time without actively seeking the nomination. I haven’t seen any movement on his part to do so. Herman Cain is a good man as well but I can see West’s charisma, his straight talk and common sense would appeal to many. But he has to want it.
Can’t help but comment on the tea party detractors . . . We (tea party folks ) only want free markets, fiscal responsibility, and limited government. Borrowing 43% of what we spend or give away to other countries is the same as cutting our own throats? Wake up.
I also believe Alan West would be a great candidate. He tells it like it is and does not m ince words on what a bad president we have now.Besides the economy, our greatest concern( in my opinion)is national security. This man knows what it takes to defend our country and he does not go around apologizing for anything we have done.I also believe he has the common sense needed to get this country back on track. The republican slate of candidates right now does not inspire me.Romney will not admit that his health care in Mass. is a failure and is bankrupting the state because,I guess,he can not admit to a mistake,That will hurt him.Newt is smart, but he has allready stepped in it and has a lot of baggage ( as if Obama did to,but the media hid it).If Alan west can get the national recognition,I think he would be great and then have Marco Rubio as his VP.That ( in my opinion) would be a formadable ticket to gather all the USA together.
You compare this man with Dwight Eisenhower???? Come on!
Arthur Urrows
Arthur, if you will read again what I said. I did not compare West with Eisenhower. I compared the “draft” of Eisenhower similarly with the “draft” of West in initial processes today. This is another example of how a far-left radical extremist TWISTS the words of Constitutional Conservatives, all over the social networks today. We know who you are by YOUR works. So, you–”get real”, Allen, and leave alone people interested in the TRUTH. When you twist a truth, you’re part of the problem deeper than you think.
Arthur, it’s possible that what you don’t know about Allen West, will surprise and please you. It’s o.k. that you don’t know what he’s about-yet.
When you get acquainted with this remarkable man, you will be shouting his praises, maybe even leading the march to bring him into the forefront.
Don’t know if I believe in “reincarnation”, but if I did, I’d say, what we’ve got here is George Washington-to the rescue of these United States!!! Yes, “come on”, indeed. come on board with a man of great integrity!!
.
I could not agree with you more. I met Allen West and was immediately impressed. After seeing him falsely accused by his opponent, I became one of his active supporters. He is a credit to this great country and the people would greatly benefit should he become president.
Christopher: You are soooo correct; Marshall’s biggest “fan” clearly needs to go back on his meds. Gee, something tells me he has never served in the military. Undoubtably, he’s been too busy standing in line for foodstamps and other liberal handouts. We need to keep this guy off the streets and away from our children. It doesn’t surprise me this D.S. who said he would never read Marshall’s blog again and SUBSEQUENTLY refers to it as “useless,” doesn’t stand by his word. His ignorant bullcrap reminds me of the many empty promises made by “bo.”
Since boo…ooops, “bo” said he found his roots in Ireland, perhaps we’ll be fortunate enough to have him stay there…permanently! If we really give a damn about Ireland, we should warn ‘em.
I’ve been a backer of West since he first ran for office, and the more I see and read of him, the better I like him. Some people have said he is not experienced enough to run for President, but he has had far more leadership experience than our current President. Also, Ike never even voted, much less ran for office, before he was elected.
I think that we really need to think ”out of the box” for our next candidate and not circulate our tired old shoes,or unelectables, anymore. My personal choice is West/Jindal in 2012. Though they are both from the south, I still think it will be an unbeatable combo.
Thanks for your blog, it is certainly not ”useless” like the one pathetic troll stated.
Have to say that a West Jindal ticket sounds very appetizing. Shane…you are right when you say we need to think outside the box. We need Mitt Romney like we need hot weather in the south this time of the year. Oh, he is probably a nice guy, and next to dear leader…no contest. However, the establishment Republican party is not a whole lot better than the establishment socialist…er democrat party.
Take a deep breath, America, and cough out the old dusty air that has been polluting our lungs from the S. O. P.(same old party), and inhale the clean fresh air which brings with it fresh ideas, fresh solutions, and will stand up for America, not apologize for it.
And folks, an aside. Next Monday is one of the most honorable holidays we have. It is not a time to get drunk and barbeque…rather to remember why we have the freedoms we have, even the people who fail to take their prosac.
God Bless our Military, and all those who have served.
I like Jindal, too, but there seems to be a question out there, whether his immigrant parents had become American citizens before Bobby was born in America. “Natural born” requires two American citizen parents, although Jindal may be an American citizen himself. I just don’t know the details of the timing. However, if Jindal was born after they both were sworn American citizens, even naturalized–then Jindal would qualify for the Vice Presidency. A candidate running with the Presidential candidate as the “back-up” replacement should the elected President be unable to continue his office–must be a “natural born” American citizen.
Even though Obama’s “long form felonious false birth certificate” was produced for the White House website–still the father as a Kenyan/UK citizen, denies him true “natural born” standing, according to all precedents. Those who know this are simply “not talking”. If Jindal ever runs for the office/Pres or VP–his birth certificate by then will be required, and it should indicate naturally that both his parents are “American citizens” as of the date of the birth.
Over 26 States now are constructing legislation to require proof of American citizenship/standing, before being allowed on State ballots–by Election 2012, they will be in place. It’s said that actually, only one State could throw the issue of the denial on the ballot into immediate rectification, because it would go into a legal process that would affect the entire national election and the denial of candidacy in every State.
Marshall,
When Obama was elected people thought they had a man who was not a Washington insider; someone who would bring us change instead of the same old crooked politics.
Were we ever wrong. He brought change all right, but it was all negative change. Now he turns his back on Israel and proposes amnesty for illegal immigrants. People of the USA have made it clear that they dont want to abandon Israel and that they want our borders sealed but under this administration only what Washington wants is considered.
Rep. West is an intelligent, knowledgeable man who will bring real change the way americans want it.
Taken directly from Congressman West’s website on “Jobs and Economy”
— I believe that the fiscal security of the United States is essential to long term prosperity. As your Congressman, I will curb out of control Government spending, I will work towards across the board tax cuts, and I will fight tirelessly to bring jobs back to South Florida. We must realize that American Exceptionalism depends on a strong and robust economy, which means that the fight begins here at home.
If we are serious about fixing our economy, then we must get back to basics. First, our tax code must be redefined. Second, we must understand that the true strength of our economy lies within small businesses, and as elected leaders in Congress, we have an obligation to support small business growth through tax cuts and incentives. Finally we need to challenge the status quo in Washington and stop the floodgates of government spending.
As your Congressman, I carry the torch of conservative, small government principles with me to Washington. —
Ladies and Gentlemen … of the Jury …. this is the same ole rhetoric coming out of the mouth of a man who has nothing more than affiliated himself with the same ole GOP … (1) Curb out of control gov’t spending?? Start with the Dept of Defense, Mr. West; (2) “across the board tax cuts” ??? For whom, other than Corporations ??; (3) Jobs back to Florida / America ?? Rep. West … don’t let the Corporations, for whom you just gave tax cuts hear you say that !!; (4) American Exceptionalism, Mr. West ?? The only exceptional feature of America is that our national debt has surpassed $14 trillion — the USA is a post-industrialized former super power, on the brink of becoming the periphery in the sense of “world-economic-systems”; (5) “the fight begins at home” ??? – then, the first thing to help, Rep. West, is to eliminate the Taft-Hartley Act in place since 1946 (which the fed gov’t – now your employer) initated on behalf of “business” … to impede Labor in America … and thus, led to outsourcing of jobs, which your fine state of Florida now craves after … (6) support “small businesses” through tax cuts ??? Mr. West … corporations are small businesses … and when you speak about tax cuts for small businesses, you do not have in mind … the ole’ maw and pop convenient stores, the local businesses which have served communities for generations, you are speaking about run of the mill shops and cheap products and services … where Chinese manufactured products get sold … at the impoverishing of ole’ Maw and Pop!! And, then, you claim to be a Conservative carrying a torch to Washington …. what a load of bull !!!!
Mr. Frank … you support this man … knowing full and well that cutting taxes for corporations and business … while continuing to tax a man’s labor (income upwards to 40%) … and then, claim that government is spending way too much … when such spending includes the LARGEST MILITARY AND DEFENSE SPENDING BUDGET on the Planet …
This is nothing less than Hypocrisy !!
You sir should know better.
Any body see anything wrong with statement above that ends in Washington?
Sounds perfect to me.
Mr. Jones …
Sounds perfect to you ???
Just today I had a conversation with someone who claims “traditional American values” are under attack from the Liberal media, or the Liberal government in power in Wash. DC. And, therefore, I replied, “Free Will” … “Choice” … “Lack of Restrictions” … “Liberty” … “Free Expression” … are these not synonymous with “traditional American values” (viz. “inalienable rights” to life and the pursuit of happiness) ???
Mr. Jones … I can assure you – Mr. Allen West has no concept of “traditional” values. He’s about supporting the values of those who wish to impede — by destroying these traditions that include liberty and choice and free expression … by placing “restrictions” on Americans, and then, hypocritcally calling himself a “Conservative” … all I see in his views on Jobs and Economy is the same rhetoric – cuts taxes for businesses, continue to burden labor with anti-labor laws (Taft-Hartley) and support outsourcing of businesses to China and elsewhere … and fostering “strong national defense” … with the largest military budget on the planet … to go out and fight all of the modern day Emmanuel Goldsteins in the world …
We are living in Orwellian times !!
p.s. if you do not see this …then, you do not have your eyes open, sir.
Mr. Allen West is head and shoulders above our President in credentials and character. I would support him on that alone, although that is not all he has going for him.
A lot of what I read within these postings against West, thinly disguised as “facts,” amounts to far left liberal slant and ideology and it would take much more than this column to help those folks straighten out their convoluted logic and false history.
Having said all that, we know that, presently, our country is run by a Proven Serial Liar President who ridicules our country, its citizens and our allies at home and abroad, embarrasses himself everywhere with his faux pas , and has damaged our country economically.
Many would probably vote for their own dog before they would cast a vote for this anti-American President.
I’m with you, Anonymous! I was thinking the same thing when I read Kevin Childer’s comments. Sounds so much like the DCC letters I get from Pelosi and others–only because when I wrote a few years ago chastising her UNDemocratic behavior and policies as Speaker of the House–apparently no one read the letter! I knew, when they simply added me to their distribution list. Ever since, I’ve used their letters to demonstrate the lies, distortion, and twisting from truth and facts, that are in them. We all know that every social network and blog comments has the foot-shoulders out en force–and it’s easy to pick them out and use them, also, as examples of either being out of touch with reality, or being here having gone to the liberal school of “how to fool the unaware” Americans into voting AGAINST what they honestly would believe to be the correct candidate and policies for the future of America.
We have to call it out, so that readers out here who never post for personal reasons–understand very well that “someone is not telling the truth”, and also give them resources where to find the “other side”. The Democrat–DemoCRAT Party (I refuse to call them “Democratic” after Pelosi and her ilk)–is counting on fooling as many people, again, as they did in 2008. Ain’t gonna happen: critical mass consciousness has been achived by Constitutional Conservatives. No stone will be left unturned. “GO! American Patriots” Tell it like it is, no POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ANYMORE. Do not apologize or make excuses for the words of another, that spell: “far left liberal radical extremist” platform. It is what it is, and from there the unaware can draw their own conclusions, and dig deeper for the real truth of today’s politics in America.
Cathari. I wish Childers would pick on you for a while. I am tired of his ranting already.
Christopher, I want you to know that you did a good job with the rant. Everybody deserves a rant once in awhile. However, this one is at the expense of others. But what difference does it make to liberal radical extremists intent on a socialist totalitarianism using the worker ants, as Kevin Childers is being used–to go out of the ant hill to bring back the bacon for the royalty. In return, they get to eat. The likelihood of the union workers getting rich for their unAmerican activity against other workers earning an honest paycheck, however, is very slim. Looks good now; wait until there is no more middle class, and thus, no other opportunities remaining to get rich off others. The moneymakers will have it all, and therefore, the royalty.
Seriously, Christopher, there’s no use talking the real facts with the worker ants, because they have their marching orders, and they do not allow themselves to be deflected, or to acknowledge being outed, as well. No admissions to guilt, no admissions that their scams on the unaware are rip-offs for all Constitutional Conservatives. Dare I say “treasonous”–oh, no we can’t see the evidence, except what we see with our own eyes and hearts. So, off they pounce over into some other Conservative discussion.
Did you notice, though, how good he has been at substituting correct information in the incorrect places of each of the items claimed to be “Conservative”–as if no one here recognizes the liberal qualities attributed in place of the conservatives? Does this sound confusing? It’s a reflection of the list, calling one thing by its name and giving it the opposite qualities instead. This is the method taught by the far-left liberal radical extremists–if you can’t convince anyone: try confusing them instead.
I so agree with you. Apparently, the worker ants are getting…well…antsy…as their rhetoric is getting more and more extreme. I notice that punctuation and grammer begin to go away. Frenzy causes mistakes when they try to “speak”.
You are spot on when you say if you cannot convince them, confuse them. This is so typical. I have seen countless times when direct questions are avoided. It is similar to a military movement where the attacker tries to flank their opponent, but the fringe left is finding out that military maneuvers are something the right is quite a bit more familiar with. As we on the right have taken the crap from the left for far too long, we have quickly learned to pivot, face a side attack, and counter with gusto.
The left fails to see that the only way they can have their “freedom to speak” (and freedom to rant), is from our conservative values and conservative traditions. Our defense of the constitution does indeed go both ways… it is there to defend some pretty stupid ideas too.
One of my favorite things in the constitution is the right to life, liberty, and the PURSUIT of happiness. No happiness is guaranteed, just the pursuit thereof. Like our birth certificates (the real ones) do not have any guarantees on them, either.
Easy Mr. Childers, and get back on the meds. Your opinions about West are just that, OPINIONS. I respectfully disagree with your opinions.
Oh…like anonymous points out, I would vote for my dog before I voted for dear leader. And unfortunately, my dog died last year. Still, she (dead) would make a better president than the dude who is over in England -is that now, or 2008- and ignoring the catastrophes in the middle of our country. Gee, I remember the last president being villified for failing to get to New Orleans fast enough after Katrina.
Jan…if you read this please excuse me for the 2008 thing again. Sorry, but I think it is hysterical. The left just loves to say Bush was less than brilliant. I cannot help pointing out that ohaha is a much bigger moron. Ohaha just has handlers that can put a sentence together. Unfortunately, one of them is Geo Soros, a man who has yet to be tried for war crimes for his activities during WW2. But that is for another blog.
Marshall …
For pete’s sake …. this Anonymous is exactly what I am talking about …
Whoever this is … has no idea what “Left Liberal Slant and Ideology” is …
and obviously gets his or her its “facts” from Faux.
I can assure you – when the 2008 election occurred, my vote was not cast for the current baffoon in office, but I find it very offensive and frustrating to hear continuously from the so-called Righteous in America, that Obama is a Leftist, or a Liberal, or whatever.
He’s an upper right hand quadrant leader just like every other Westernized leader in the so-called Free World. Put Obama in a line up with members of the British Parliament, and I bet you, Marshall … he will be chosen out as the most conservative.
Point is … Anonymous … must be friends with Mr. Jones … with both eyes closed.
Mr. Jones …
I took the information directly from West’s official website.
And, then … directly pointed out what it is … bull !!
Of course … you may deem it opinion.
But, if you truly believe “Conservatives” are for re-building America …
and can only think of “supporting small business” as the only, or best way to
re-ignite our “American exceptionalism” … I think you ought to go and take a basic economics course at your local community college.
Would do you and every other conservative tea partying Republican some good …
But instead, you’ll probably just end up watching the Three Stooges at FAUX (Beck / O’Reilly / Hannity) for your economics update !!
I do like this Ohaha … very inventive of you, being that you are backwards thinking Conservative wanna-be.
Thanks for the advice Kev…I took econ already, but maybe I should enroll in YOUR college, and you can teach me what YOU think economics ought to be.
Oh…as always, love it when you do your labeling, and name calling. Love it when you ASSUME things. But then you know what that does.
It does not take a commentator to see the following:
If you have a scintilla of inteliigence can see that our economic situation is dire. We have an unemployment rate of about 17%, or higher, we are in debt to our eyeballs, (your kids will never be able to pay it back), and all ohaha wants to do is spend more. And I am backwards? NOTE TO KEVIN: The Bull was all that was written after the word Washington in your earlier blog.reply. That would be the part that West did not say. Don’t be like the usual lap dog liberal…and take my words out of context.
Hey anonymous. When you come over tonight for dinner, please pick up a gallon of milk.
OMG, Mr Childers called ohaha a conservative. Please…unglue my eyelids…I must look up the definition of conservative and liberal and socialist and fascist. Everything I learned in college has gone for naught.
Mr. Jones
1) Liberalism has failed in America – just read Chris Hedges book entitled “The Death of the Liberal Class” for more info
2) Barack Obama is a marionette, attached to corporate state strings … just like every other president since Reagan, if not Carter.
3) Obama is in the sense of a political compass – less authoritarian than Bush II, and more centralized than Bush II … which means, he’s more in tune with where Hitler was on an economic scale. But, again – far less authoritative.
4) Obama is not out to destroy “traditional values” like “Freedom of Expression”, “Choice”, “Liberty”, “Pursuit of Happiness” … as is every GOP candidate on the current ballot (except maybe Ron Paul)
5) Obama has no clue in regards to the economy in that Obama does not wish to eliminate the Taft-Hartley act … which on behalf of business, government instilled to limit labor and labor leadership… and how else, Mr. Jones, can Americans obtain wealth except their labor?? Labor begets Wealth … Capitalists suck Labor dry of Wealth!! … and therefore, if Obama is unwilling to see that, or stop it, then, he is no leftist liberal !! That is fact !!
6) The arch-enemy of the Fascist is the Communist / Far Left Socialist. Therefore, Mr. Jones, if you oppose Communism, Socialism, Liberalism … then, you only have one little circle in which to pencil in your affiliation !!
Note to Kevin Childers:
Please don’t drink any more of the Kool-Aid. It has already clouded your mind beyond repair!!!
1. Hope you are right.
2. Ohaha is a puppet of George Soros, noted socialist and as yet unarrested on what I sincerly believe I COULD PROVE war crimes during the second world war.
3. Far less authoritative? Only because he has not gained the political power he needs to bring the fourth reich into existance.
4. Your definitions of traditional values are just that…YOURS. That you would imply ohaha would not like to destroy freedom of expression is beyond belief. You are deluded if you think that is true.
5. Spoken like a raving communist. Labor was GIVEN General Motors, courtesy of the taxpayer. And my leftist friends all drive Japanese or European cars. How funny is that?
6. Once again, you conclude something that is false in every way. For a professor to make assumptions and conclusions like that is…well… kind of like this…
Breathing causes death. We all breath, we all die. So, breathing causes death.
Remember, comrade, that Hitler was the head of the National Socialist Labor Party. Is there really a notable difference in fascism or communism? I say nay nay. They are dictatorships run by the state, with state run programs, state mandated programs, and if you disagree with them, you either get sent to a gulag, or you get sent to a concentration camp. Death generally follows. Hmmm. They must be breathing when they go there, so therefore it is the breathing that is causing tem to die, not some dictator. You and your isms.
Christopher, your response helped readers have a specific definition of “specious logic”. Your breathing example brings the reference to a concrete understanding of how the far-left radical extremists have been “attacking” Americans through their email letters by the DCC and through the countless minions attacking the Internet “air-ways”–not only, “do not drink the kool-aid” but also, “do not beathe the air they’re passing out to the as yet unaware Americans” who sometimes fall for someone just because he “sounds” so intelligent with all that great specious logic! In the DCC letters what they do is for every criticism of Constitutional Conservatives–they insert as their complaints the very actions they themselves had committed on the FLOORS of our Congressional houses, which now today many people don’t know that means: House +(Plus) Senate! (I hate that Representives to the House of Congress is now called “Congressman”–as if the SENATE does not have a house, also, in Congress!)
Cathari…When I sign on to check my email, my computer goes to MSN news. I generally briefly scan MSN’s news headlines, and my eye caught an article about how wonderful 5.00 a gallon gas was. When I read it, the blood pressure went up, and I had to respond to an idiotic article. In about 10 minutes, their blog had almost 100 replies to the article, and every one of them up to that point nailed the writer (me included). The logic of the left is so sick. A blogger pointed out that while the accident rate may go down because of less driving, the starvation rate would go up because of high food prices resulting from getting the goods to market. (The idiotic who wrote the article failed to note that high oil price affect WORLD wide food costs). One writer wrote that maybe we should kill everyone when they reach 55, because that would cut down on driving too. Your point about the left attacking the internet air ways is well taken. A few years ago, George Bush was the worst kind of maggot in the world, because of gas prices. Ohaha gets a pass now, and we are being “instructed” by the left, on how good it is to have 5.00 a gallon gas…while at the same time, calling oil company executives pond scum.
The reaction to the article was heartwarming. The people are beginning to see the difference between pies and cow pies. The left is finding out we know they are peeing on our legs, when they say it is raining outside. I was encouraged by the blog and it’s responses.
West is smart. West is articulate. West is honest. I would have no problem with him. The media will crucify, lie and obfuscate til the cows come home. But they’ve been doing that for awhile.
I would be sooo happy if Peter King from New York would run. However, I would vote for West as President and Cain as VP. Just think know one could say we are
prejudice this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congressman Allen West has my support 100% strictly on his stand against radical Islam. He may well be the only member of Congress that has the full knowledge of how much of a threat this masquerade of a religion is against the civilized world. West also recognizes that the so-called moderate Muslims in America are just as culpable by failing to condemn the organizations that provide support to the terrorists, such as CAIR, all of which use the Islamic practice of al taquiyya. This is the blatant lying of Muslims to non-Muslims in order to further their cause.
Congressman West’s political position on the other issues is strictly icing on the cake for me. I support his position on fiscal responsibility, a strong military, energy independence, closed borders and enforcement of federal laws regarding illegal aliens, a flat tax system, private sector growth, lower taxes for all, converting Social Security into an independent trust fund account, and maintaining support for our only true ally in the mid-east, Israel. His unwavering belief in the Constitution of the United States of America is a further strong selling point.
When asked prior whether he would be willing to run for a higher office, West replied that he was elected by his constituants to perform a job in his district and he felt the obligation to do so. It is my sincere hope that Allen West will reconsider his position and not only support his constituants, but all of the citizens of the United States of America.
Christopher, I’m sorry that you had to suffer the rant. I’ve been offline all afternoon, with my hub’s and mom-in-law, both not in good health–early morning hours I’m around more. However, you did handle the rant very well, and I wanted to let you know I noticed. There’s no use trying to convince the far-left liberal radical extremists: they have their marching orders, and their neuro-linguistic technique finely honed. The point isn’t about the truth of anything Conservative. When it’s known a Conservative cannot be fooled by specious logic, the objective is simply, to confuse those in the viewing audience who are still unaware of what’s really being distorted. The good news is, that even the unaware Conservatives who are also like so many of us have been previously, as naive–when we realize what a fool we were made to be, then we are converted absolutely, and there’s no way the minions are able to turn us ever again. We’re converted for life, that Constitutional Conservativism is a given absolute–because it applies to everyone, no matter what they personally believe. Those who are unaware, i.e., will still benefit from all the knowledge and hard work accomplished post 2008 especially. God Bless America! Don’t become disheartened, and be proud of what you know even when another acts as though they “don’t see that you do know.” Congratulations, Christopher! We can easily recognize each others, and the unaware soon enough will recognize the real from the unreal.
Thank you Cathari, and I sincerely hope that things improve health wise for your family.
In all sincerity, (and you know I often can get a bit tongue in cheek), I too love our country, and our constitution. When it is trampled, and trashed, and ignored by ANY administration, it MUST make one sit up and take notice. Constitutional conservatism is one of the best descriptions of what we need in this country…and the Tea Party would be better suited to call itself the CCM…or constitutional conservative movement.
When it comes to the rants of left wing wackos, I will say if we join together as one solid force, the ranting and raving just sort of bounces off, and as Dr. Marlowe says, someone ends up whipped.
Yes, I agree with you concerning the term “Constitutional Conservative”. It also reminds us of the “secular language” the founding philosophers were very specific about, and for good reason. I think Glenn Beck has been crucial to bringing the new understanding of what’s going on, to American People. However, he made a serious error in alienating a huge segment of our Citizenry, when he went beyong discussing “God” to running a full-on presentation with “religion”, specifically Christianity only–when other religions are “equal” under the Constitution. It doesn’t matter so much that “Christians” primarily came to colonize America (for England), and then there was a full-on Revolution and establishment of our unique form of a democratic republic (republic=checks and balances to mob rule AND rule of “the few”). Beck threw his case off course, from the original powerful message he had given, which earned a great following (I believe it’s still going, but with fewer followers than would have been still there.)
Truth is from my personal studies since age 25 actually, the scholars of anthropology and archeology especially, from the ancient written records going back to the first human civilization on the Earth–have found that the term “Christ” was used in different translations at least as far back as the earliest teachings of the Osirian Mysteries, predating dynastic Egypt in transition from ancient Sumeria. “Christ” means simply in Greek, “anointed”, originating with the Greek philosopher Hermes Trismegistus as Master Teacher who migrated to Egypt and re-established actually, the true Osirian Mystery Schools. “Christ” was an initiatic TITLE, not a name (concerning the inner divine connection attained, as taught by Christ Jesus later: “look within”, “the kingdom of God is within”. Christianity, also, in the form of universal principles in Christianity, as well as found in various levels and depth among also man-made dogmas of ALL religions–were a part of the ancient “mystery” studies, which in today’s genre was “religion”, or “teaching universal principles” at least in the beginning, until humans began making their own outer interpretations that infiltrated some specious logic ironically, as well as simply erroneous ideas about God and Nature, which is at the heart of God’s divine intelligence permeating the unvierse.
So, my problem with Beck is that by tauting Christianity as we know it today, “over” other religions–he is alienating other very intelligent, PATRIOTIC blocks of “Constitutional Conservatives”, and only inadvertantly, no doubt, creating “dis-unity” in a certain signifant measure. All religious beliefs and all personal beliefs (i.e. social issues) WERE specifically protected by the U.S. Constitution, because in our relationship individually (not collectively) with God–we must be free to explore ideas and methods concerning our intelligent human mind, in order to “enter into the Way” that was taught by Jesus. All humans are God’s children, and we know we all make mistakes, and hopefully we learn better from it. Some, though, today will NEVER learn, and that is what the chaos today is about–to sort it all out….
Because of the specious trashing by the far-left radical extremists, concerning the sublimation of the original meaning of “Tea Party” i.e., a modern form of the historic Boston Tea Party–Constitutional Conservative would cover it all!
Your discussion of the term Christ is something I had not seen before, and I find it interesting and provocative. While I am not going to defend Beck per se, I suspect his problem and/or defense of Christianity is more a fear of Islam as we are seeing it today. Beck has to walk a tightrope, too, as FOX is now partially owned by a wealthy Saudi.
My fear is what I suspect Beck’s is. I believe in our constitutional defense of ALL RELIGIONS. That said, I do not believe that Islam is a religion, rather that it is a political way of life, with some references to Allah tossed in to give them cover. We cannot grant constitutional protection to a way of life that will in fact destroy our constitution. Islam, if followed by the “book”, will destroy us. I further believe that when many of the illiterate Muslims find out about Mohammed, and who he really was, (a child molesting so called prophet-endowed so by his wife) Islam will lose steam. As I am a follower of the Bible, and am a Christian, I have to say that a true Christian cannot discriminate or hate. Jesus never condoned or advocated such a thing. Since I do not listen to Beck all that much, (in spite of certain people’s moronic conclusions), I have to bow to your conclusions, however I have heard Beck when he had on scholars of various faiths, including rabbi’s, evangelicals, and priests, all at the same time. There was no advocating of any one specific faith…rather a challenge to people of all faiths to be moral, stand up for morality, and to stand up and be counted.
Christopher, I agree with many things you said on Beck–it’s an absolute that his work has been crucial to quickly re-educating America concerning our heritage, our Constitution, and the internal attack over decades of inch-worming with the intent to destroy our government, our free way of life, and our individual relationship with God within. I just wish he hadn’t taken it to the point of “religion”, and left it at the feet of God figuratively. I may have missed more, as I stopped watching since already I had been updated and have been on the Internet as now still. He’s still good for those who are watching–but the audience could have been more overwhelming, and the 912 movement, more far-reaching, more quickly, is all.
Again, it ALL comes down to the Constitution. Islam has been turned into a political system especially by the radical extremist Islamics–as defined by Robert spencer–”Islamists” being those who continue to function under the header of a religion. The clerics, however, enable to political jihadists, the Islamics. There are some fabulous IslamISTS who are educated and they continue trying to re-educate the American Islamists, as well, and they’ve appeared on FoxNews. THEY are Constitutionalist American citizens. We have a personal friend, also, who we trust with our computers, who is a Constitutionalist American Patriot–and he does NOT like what’s happened in America!
I did hear Beck tauting the “Christianity” specifically of America’s beginnings; when in fact there were also other religious people who fled Europe because of the rule by the “Christian” Church–please understand I recognize that “Christian” is defined differently by “the religion”. I was born a Roman Catholic and grew up a deeply devout Catholic, until I began questioning for myself certain tenets, which led into the personal research on what the scholars and scientists had documented from ancient periods, prior to even the time of Abraham. This included, of course, a deep study of the Judeo-Christian Bible–i.e., the selected sacred scriptures of the “old” religions of Abraham especially, which predated both Judaism and Christianity, where both religions have common ties in ancestral spiritual cultures.
I think that today what’s most important, and this is just a personal opinion, is that a belief in God is the highest form of spiritual practice, with an open mind to further “inner” understanding as we tend to continually realize new concepts about life and living as humans on earth. I believe that Jesus was the first human being who attained a “Christ” consciousness; however, there are many to have a different concept of him as a Master Teacher with the title of Christ. He did not come to “save the world”, but in his words, to show a new way, “his way”, which he also defined as “within” us, or the divine intelligence of the universe–i.e., God, as some understand it. It isn’t a difference of belief in God, but a difference in the higher significance within all humans through the Soul of god in humans, etc. Just explaining more of the concept of “spirituality” as slightly different in definition than “religion” with the additional dogma vs. one’s inner knowledge directly rather than by faith on another’s concept. In this, I would say then, “do not take my word for it”, because the higher Word is within YOU, the reader, etc. Being spiritual goes beyond religious restrictions to the heart of love, the heart of God within, as you have expressed in the principles you gave. (Enough on this now; the point was concerning that all religions contain some of the same universal religions–dogma separates one from the others.)
It has been my experience that some of the greater thinkers…regarding Christ, religion in general, and spiritual enlightenment have been people who were brought up as strict Catholics in their somewhat confined arena. You are obviously one of them, and broke out of that narrow path. I was just brought up as a basic generic protestant, and attended a Dutch Reformed church in upstate NY. Experiences I had after adulthood changed me, and at the age of 49, I was actually fully submersed baptised … not as any kind of guarantee of some kind of salvation, but as a demonstration of my belief. It is a personal thing of course, but something that is ridiculed by those who have the spirituality of a cotton mouth who is angry.
As for agreeing with a specific doctrine, I would have to say that is not me. Christ’s example… when he said he is the way…makes sense, because he was the first to attain that status, as you say.
We see in a mirror dimly, but …
Yeah, we are chasing a rabbit, but that is what the blogosphere is about, is it not? For now, back to kicking butt and finding the right person to do just that.
Your words are very kind, Christopher. It all started when I asked the question at age 17, “If there is anyone who knows what the Bible really, really says, please tell me!” (That was a prayer, and eventually in about 10 years I found the answer when I began my search.) The answer is: “look within”. Everyone’s search is unique to each individual, however, no matter where one begins to “question” and put ideas together in one’s own thoughts. This is not to set aside religion, but to accept belief systems as part of the different searches in everyone’s relationship to God. God is the divine intelligence of the universe, with omni-science over all things and events, everywhere present at once, all-knowing, just as the scriptures have taught.
Now, as you say, back to kicking butt! Right on.
I love this guy,but.
Way to new in politics, it would be far better to wait and groom until 2020 when he has national recognition. I think we will have a republican (not West) in the white house in 12 & 16, and then if West is still in politics and has built a nationally recognized name, it may then be his time.
Those of us in Florida who supported him when he ran for office last year were quick to realize his potential. Out side Florida I don’t think he has the recognition nor the vast sums it takes to get ones name out there.
Take a look at http://www.allenwestnation.com
I personally am from CA and I am spreading the word.
Negativity never moved mountains, but with a Can Do Attitude I can see the LtCol stepping up in October and make the impression needed to win it. There is no doubt in my mind that if we give him one debate against BO he has a slam dunk.
Smiling here because…….”You good folks sure rendered Kevin Childers inadequate & left him at the “Peak of Pissivity!” Kevin, are you ok…or do you feel a tad “Whipped?”
West for President gets my vote.
Dr. M. Love it.. Whipped. Too funny.
Honestly Dr. Marlowe … I read all these replies … and all I can see is — “War is Peace” Freedom is Slavery” and “Ignorance is Strength.”
Our country is so economically hopeless without production which by labor, creates wealth. There is no other way to create wealth without “labor productivity”. Culturally, our country would rather see an athlete who most likely can’t even type a complete and grammatically correct sentence, earn tens of millions a year, while our hard-working school teachers make chicken-scratch in comparison.
And … just as Orwell’s 1984 begins with the whole globe divided …, [and] all perpetually at war with each other, so we Americans today are at war with every one “who is with the terrorists” … and we delight in sights of macabre and mindless slaughter — e.g. “dancing in the streets” with US Flags, celebrating the death of our modern day “Emmanuel Goldstein” (aka Osama bin laden).
In the end … what will be left of America is nothing more than a population of people who have each betrayed the other.
Whoop! Cain just committed suicide on the campaign trail, and is already OUT. Listen to what he says in this video. First he says “life, liberty, pursuit of happiness”, to “read” the Constitution,….THEN “abolish” parts of it?! NO WAY, “JOSE.” I agree with the person who commented earlier that Cain has become rather uppity–unlike how he presented himself in the S.C. debate, the first debate out of the chute for Campaign 2012. No way will people I know be voting for Cain as President OR Vice President. My wish still is that Alex West will realize WE NEED HIM NOW–not later.

Footnote: Please be certain to listen all the way to the end of this video. In the beginning Cain says “we don’t need to rewrite the Constitution”; in the very final statement he states specifically, “We need to ABOLISH it!” And with great gusto! Also, I was remiss in allowing him “abolish parts” of it–afterall, he specifically said “we don’t need to rewrite it”, so that would amount to deleting sections, and keeping the rest. He says in the end, “We need to ABOLISH it!”

Cathari
just goes to show that most Americans vote for men who, if asked, could not show you where Washington DC is located on a map.
Cain is a business-man. If he’s helped failing businesses become profitable businesses, great…glad to hear it. But, do not ever believe that Business and government management are the same thing … or can be done in the same way.
That is the fallacy most Americans believe.
Try again, Kevin Childers:
Be certain to listen all the way to the end, for the real bottom line of what Cain is saying in this speech, and with great gusto.

we’ve been Allen West fans since he ran for Congress the first time in ’08 – met him at a Pro-HAMAS Counter Rally with Joyce Kaufman –
this vid commensurates one solid year of Pro Israel rallys in front of the Fed Courthouse in Ft Lauderdale

West get’s it from the jump -
he’re a little bit from the counter-rally . . . the Pro HAMAS side is just as nasty as in GAZA but they have been “educated” here . . . hmmmmmmmmmm !

Cain implores us Americans to ‘re-read’ the Constitution, in order to ‘re-call’ that which is rather stated in the Decl of Independence ?? However, Cain’s ignorance of the nation’s founding documents makes him well-suited to compete in a GOP presidential primary!!
Again, distorted, half-information… HEAR the very final STATEMENT and then everyone understands how a minion “fools the unaware” with missing information, and “replaced” information, as well. CAIN IMPLORES people to ABOLISH the Constitution–most people may not listen to the end…. and then there are the minions intent on destroying America–only to learn if it should ever happen, they will be no better than the Nazi SS who protected themselves and their families, by selling out the other German citizens even besides the Jewish Germans. This is shared, to further illustrate how the pieces of the big picture, when separated in any distant, dis-entangled manner–confuse and distort the realities even the most honest unaware would be ABLE to “see”. That’s the work of those intent on fooling all the people possible–all the time, in order to attain an otherwise impossible objective.
http://thinkprogress.org/2011/05/23/cain-reread-constitution/
I hear this fellow speaking … and totally taking something found in one document,
and then, claiming it’s in another. No denying, friends.
Mr. Frank … your comments sir ??
I agree with you,
I support Congressman Allen West 100% and will be guided by his principles and his judgement in the coming days.
Good point, Robin. Should West truly not run, either for President or V.P., I will listen to hear who he DOES support instead, and will support him/her! or both….
Cathari…not to rehash the religion thing, but I had to write this. My wife just got back from a “tea” for wives of the military. I live in Beaufort, SC, where we have a huge military (mostly Marine, some Navy) plus retired population. Our church is working with the families and the individuals who have been over there.
The reason I am writing this though, is to mention the severe ptsd our people are experiencing, and bringing back. PTSD from seeing hundreds of dead people hanging…nearby electrical contacts used to torture them prior to their deaths. Those who are doing the torturing are our peace loving (not) followers of Islam. I know you have mentioned that you agree that Islam is now generally looked at as a political way of life, and not a religion that we commonly can acknowlege as one, but have found followers of Islam that believe this is a bastardization of their faith. If that is true, they better get it in gear, and take back their religion, like conservatives are going to take back our country. If not, a war is coming that WILL by necessity, destroy Islam. This is one bad bunch of people, who are essentially inhuman, and use up valuable air that the rest of us breathe.
Christopher, I spent 3 mos. at Sumter AFB with my first husband, who trained there for his first tour for Vietnam, recon. T-38s I believe was the aircraft out of Tonsonut Air Base in Thailand. Loved, S.C. I can only imagine the extent of post-traumatic stress disorder in our military, after what they see and go through over there.
I believe you are referring to the Al Qaeda via The Muslim Brotherhood, who is taking control of certain regions in an attempt to take full control of Middle East countries, with an eye toward the obliteration of Israel in the mix. The Muslim Quran contains many of the same “universal” principles of Christianity, and it also came after Christianity in the timeline. As other religions, it also has it’s manmade dogmas, one being the Jihad–Robert Spencer is the expert on the destructive interpretations of Islam, where Jihad is considered an individual, inner battle with oneself, to rise to the heights possible through personal introspection, looking within, intent upon making changes more in keeping with God or Alah. It is believed that the radical extremist Islamic Jihadists have highjacked the Islamist religion–from the multitudes of Muslims who believe the Jihad was not intended for political destruction of infidels, who are not of the Islam religion.
I do not know whether it is even possible for the so-called moderate Islamists to in effect overthrow the clerics who dictate the actions of adherants, and who are responsible for any punishment that comes to those who do not act as instructed. Severe punishment even in America has come to Muslims who went outside the set parameters, including honor killings by families for various infractions considered so serious. Only if Islamists rose up in unison within their respective mosques, might I be possible I think, for a full insurrection to put down the radical extremist element in some way appropriate for them. The organization is set up in such a way that fascist control is hardline–I think it would be a matter of entire groups fully overthrowing the known radical Jihadists, but then what would they do with them? Turn them over to American Law–doesn’t seem possible, except in the case of specific crimes with evidence and witnesses. It’s a difficult issue.
However, it has seemed natural to me that I expect War is inevitable globally as well as within our own borders–because of the multi-prong nature of integrated attacks being carried on, bloodless, throughout every level of our culture and government throughout America, including, of course, the far-left radical media who tells only what serves the fulfillment of totalitarian agendas. The chaos now, is preparing people for understanding what is to come, I think–and the sorting will lead to the destruction of those who refuse to accept the universal principle of freedom in one’s individual relationship to God. It is inevitable, and the greater means under Nature’s law of necessity, is War. Push comes to shove throughout all of Nature, and “something’s” got to go to make way for that which is to be in its own time, or season. Then is when the internal functioning of the Islam religion adherants, too, will be part of the sorting–whether they stand up for God’s universal love and freedom of the individuals to be and think and do that which is their God-given right, or whether they submit to their chain of command and follow orders of the extremist Jihadists intent on the destruction of the free world, especially the nation of America.
So, I think it’s a given, Christopher, not a maybe. It’s part of the final destruction that must occur, in order to have the conditions necessary for ushering in the true new era of humanity on earth, where peace and understanding of the Aquarian Age is finally possible. The new era was prognosticated in the 17th C. by great “esotericists”, those who understand that which is hidden from the vast majority of civilization; hidden only for protecting the “intelligence” from those who only would attempt to obliterate the knowledge to their own ends. It will not be only the extremist Jihadists, of course, but all other political agendas by “anyone” and all groups intent on the destruction of the free world in America and globally. We all must prepare for the worst, and if it isn’t the worst, better to have been prepared in all ways appropriate. It’s part of the recipe for achieving the new era, we must remember if we realize it in this way; and then do what becomes necessary in all conditions presented. God Bless America!
We sadly agree. I say that, because you describe armagheddon. It is difficult for me to comphrehend that the newest (Islam) of the major religions has been so hijaked to have become the one of honor killings, Sharia Law, and beheadings.
It has bothered me that both Bush, and his replacement, both have described how wonderful Islam is. Dakdok’s translation of the Q’uran is the light that exposes the current usage of that book to one which advocates hatred and death to all who will not bend to it, and convert to it. At best, non Muslim’s will all become slaves. The incursion of radical Islam into the U. S. is continuing, and there already are zones that will not allow you in, if you are not a devout Muslim. In France, non Muslim women are beaten and raped, if they dare enter those zones.
You are right. It is coming. People can bury their heads in the sand, or stand up an opine about how peaceful and loving and how kumbaya things are with Islam. Wish it was so. I know it is not. I am no kid anymore…Viet Nam was my era war too. if I am alive, though, when this begins, I MUST be ready. Anyone who has any regard for the American way of life, must be ready.
And, it gives me great pleasure to once again promote Alan West for our presidential nominee. HE KNOWS exactly what we have been speaking about. He saw it, lived it, and knows that if we fail to stop it, there is no sense arguing health care, homosexual marraige, or 5.00 a gallon gas. All the hot topics of today will become moot.
Yes, it is coming, and Constitutional Conservatives and all true American Patriots need to take this Bull by the horns soonest possible, knowing it’s coming–so that we are able at least to position conditions in the best possible way by the arrival of that time.
This morning I listened to the entire 40-min. C-Span telephone Q&A w/ Allen West, from yesterday morning, May 26, 2011. Amazing grip on every answer immediately out of his mouth–in his own words. The last third contains some of the most difficult callers, and the answers still on spot. Here is the YouTube url, although it is also at the Allen West Nation, for people who want to go there and also register to join in the DRAFT process for this true American Patriot who’s hour is coming, and he says, if it is to be God will take care of everything. I believe this, and it will happen in “due” time, perhaps the most opportune time for this Campaign 2011-12. He actually made a statement in this spot, concerning that in a war zone, it’s best if the enemy does not see you coming! Amazing, inspiring individual who brings everything he discusses–into perfect understanding. Both links here below: If you have not heard him speak extemporaneously–here he is, with no loss for the “right words”!

I had the pleasure of meeting and having a photo-op with Mr West last veterans Day. He is a straight shooter and seems to be sincere in his tasks of getting things right again. I will support him if he will run for the Presidency and overthrow the Obamanism administration.
Unfortunately, if he gets that far and ultimately picks Palin as a VP running mate, I’m out. Can’t stand her attitude, demeanor or ridiculous crap that comes from her mouth.

Cathari,
Thanks for the Allen West Nation website. Good info.
You’re very welcome, Bill. It’s fairly new, and they continue upgrading the features. Some great resource sections on articles, blogs, videos/audios, etc., plus discussions, of course.
Cain: has the secret to end the war. will not reveal it until he wins the Presidency. That will be January, 2012. At an average lost of at least 5 pairs of boots on the ground per month, that is a price that I would not like to pay.
West, Hon.: http://thinkprogress.org/2011/05/17/allen-west-newt-gingrich-poll-test/
with actions as mentioned, too much of a risk to take “just so Obama does one term only”.
Remember, Powell went rogue and showed us his true side….BETRAYAL .????
.
I agree with you. Theatrics are not needed right now. West put his boots on the ground, and proved himself. Secrets? Childs play.
Marshall, this Allen West appearance as guest speaker was just yesterday at The Heritage Foundation–WOW! His extemporaneous speech, no notes, no teleprompter: “The 21st Century Battlefield”. Such a scholar, and the kind of Great American Hero who brings tears to an American’s eyes…. Such a leader who has his finger on the pulse of world history and the pulse of America, and what we need to do as a nation in the “conflagration” of the international battle facing us now.
Video is 45 min., half is his address, and half are excellent questions from people present in the audience, with his answers–straight out of his mouth, and on spot every sentence. Amazing individual.
