If anyone hasn’t been watching the news of late, there has been an important revelation concerning radical Islamic infiltration of the United States, as aided and abetted by NPR.
The same undercover journalist that exposed ACORN in 2009 for the sleaze it really was, managed to video a meeting between the top vice-president of NPR as he met for lunch with — what he thought were — two members of an organization tied to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) seeking to donate five million dollars to the left-wing broadcasting organization. (Now, why would the MB want to do that? Hmm)
As you can see by watching the video, Mr. Ron Schiller, then president of the NPR Foundation, along with a female associate, was all too willing to sell out his country for big donations from our enemy, as he denigrated Jews, Christians, republicans, conservatives, labeling the Tea Party as “Racist” while portraying himself (and NPR) as the shining light of liberalism, all too ready and willing to surrender broadcast influence to the radical, Jihad-supporting, subversive Islamic organization. He was saying everything he thought they wanted to hear.

Here’s what’s important, and what’s not.
What’s not important, is that NPR receives a small percentage of their support from public funding. The media is focusing on the tax-supported aspect of this, which is probably going to end immediately. But that’s not the great danger.
What IS important is that NPR — a liberal broadcasting system — was all too willing to seek and accept funding from an organization that is dedicated to the overthrow of our country, thus ceding influence to our enemies.
What IS important, is another question: What don’t we know? How many other media groups are willing to sell out to our heinous enemies behind the scenes?
The researchers at NPR are not stupid. They know that the MB has been tried and convicted in American courtrooms for funneling charity money to terrorist organizations. (Holy Land Foundation Trials) They know that the government agents have uncovered secret documents authored by the hierarchy of the MB, that call for the destruction of America, from within. They know that the MB has authored other documents, (The Project) uncovered in police raids in the U.S. and in Switzerland, that spell out their step-by-step, long range strategy plan for conquering the west, some of which includes the media, and to continually portray themselves as “moderate.”
These facts have been documented many times over. (See links below)
Five million bucks buys a lot of influence, which is the only reason the MB would care about donating that sum of money. NPR knows that as well. Influence translates to skewing news and commentary to suit the MBs long range goals.
In September, of 2001, the enemy (Radical Islam) murdered three thousand of our people in an act of war. And we’re still capitulating. We’re still sucking up to the people who have a duty to Allah to bring us down. We’re still burying our heads in the sand. We are utterly stupid. All of which, is good news for the Muslim Brotherhood, our ENEMY.
Here’s what needs to be done:
1. Identify the Muslim Brotherhood — and all its subsidiary organizations — as the enemy of the United States and withdraw all rights to funding, immigration, banking, visas.
2. Schilling and NPR should be tried for treason.
3. James O’Keefe, the gutsy young journalist/videographer should be awarded a medal of freedom.

What a former executive of NPR said … under surveillance … in my view … is not the bottom line of NPR. The man has been fired, and what I have heard from NPR since yesterday afternoon about Schiller … comes to me as a pivotal and positive response by the public broadcaster.
It is unfortunate, but do not, sir, expect me nor the vast majority of Americans who support public airwaves for the public interest to believe that NPR is a Left Wing media source!

I agree with Mr. Childers: The person in question was fired and if you listen to the entire video, you will note that he stated clearly it was “his opinion” and that he was speaking as a person and not as an employee of NPR. The grounds for firing were not based on this incident alone, but on a pattern of inappropriate actions and comments. Additionally, the chairman who stepped down did so honorably. She was not known for being “a politician”……Remember that Public Radio is supported primarily by private grants and member sponsorship.
Next point…compared to Fox network, I find NPR balanced and fair to the extreme on most all issues!
I also am not fond of the concept of “liberal” being synonymous with “evil”…I hear the echo of Joe McCarthy’s footsteps.

But as for your comparison to FNC vs. NPR and fair and balanced…
I am not sure where you get that. FNC’s news programs ALWAYS have both sides on for every issue that is controversial. Always. You may not want to hear the conservative side…I may not want to hear the liberal side, but FNC has them both on. NPR…I am not sure they always do. However, I have no problem with their continuing to broadcast…only that they shoud do it, without taxpayer money. As FNC does.

Great reporting and story. Americans need to wake up before everything we love and hold dear is taken away from us. Keep up the good work and rest asure its not falling on deaf ears. As for your “spin” i don’t understand if this person saw or was able to understand the video.
It just floors me to hear these liberals whine about how NPR is doing a great job when there is a video of thier represenatives commiting treason. If this had been a conservative group these sobbing liberals would be demanding that those involved be imprisoned immediately.
There exists a belief among the far left that it is courageous to always take the anti-american side of any issue. But one things for sure, they would come running to the sheepdogs of this country if trouble broke out.

First and foremost, I do not believe you even know or understand what it means to be “far left” any more than I think Mr. Frank does.
When one never strays from the GOP line, when one continues to propagandize “Islamo-phobic” tendencies, which is in essence, diverting attention from other problems, to shift blame for failures, and to channel frustration in controlled directions … all as a means to seem justified under the rubric of protecting “national security,” etc. etc. … well, Dale, I think (or at least hope) you understand what I am getting at here??
Again, I do not condone the actions and comments by the former NPR exec. He was fired before he could actually leave NPR to take another job soon, because NPR of course as a whole … and we all know good and well, that just because some exec in the upper hierarchy says this or that, does not mean at all, that the employees further down the line, agree with and condone the same mindset as Mr. Schiller. Obviously, they don’t and that is why he is no longer a member of NPR !!

The Democrat party was taken over by the Progressives years ago, and they are not Centrists.
Red…it is widely believed that those involved in educating our young, impressionable and easily manipulated children are NOT in the real world. Kind of like the media. They live in their own world, and it is la la land. You know, sort of like Hollywood. If Charlie Sheen ever had to earn a days pay doing real labor, he would drop over deader than a mackeral. He too, lives in la la land. The difference is that teachers make a whole lot less than actors. Not sure what that tells us about the pecking order of our country, but that is for another time, another blog.
I have listened to and supported NPR in the past; however, several months ago I decided to withdraw my support because of: 1. My Bose radio can not pick up the Fort Pierce station (which I think still plays classical music), and the Orlando station has given up beautiful classical music in favor of talk shows; 2. In listening to some of the talk on NPR as well as their news reports, I’ve made my own conclusion that NPR favors liberal policies in both domestic and international affairs.
I tend to lean towards liberal policies in domestic matters i.e. gay rights, abortion, gun laws, etc. as long as those issues do not have negative financial impacts on society as a whole. However, I am a strong conservative regarding international issues. Nothing is more important to me than preserving the democracies upon which our country was founded, and I see our country at risk of losing the freedom that most Americans take for granted.
Counterterrorism is bandaid treatment; certainly better than nothing, but we need to take additional preventive measures to protect our freedom. Perhaps we need to restrict immigrations to the USA, crack down severely on illegal immigrants, limit our involvement in the Middle East and China, and start building a very, very strong military/defense system because trouble is ahead for us.
I might be just a naive senior citizen, a parent and a grandparent. I grew up in a low/moderate income family, and as a retired RN I remain far from wealthy. Yet, I consider myself to have led a “charmed life” because of the freedoms I have always enjoyed as an American; I am one of the luckiest people on the face of the earth. However, I’m deeply concerned that if our country continues to tolerate liberal policies regarding international affairs, our children and grandchildren will not only need to become fluid in the Arabic or Chinese language, but they will lose all the freedoms I have so richly enjoyed.
Eileen…I agree with you completely. Unfortunately, liberal policies in a case like this (tolerance towards a “religion” that is not really a religion, but is instead a political way of life), can and WILL cause us to lose a great deal of freedoms, and our way of life. None of wish to be seen as intolerant, and “liberals” like to throw the intolerant word at anyone who does not agree with them. I say, don’t worry about what others might toss your way…it is they that are intolerant…intolerant of any philosophy that is not theirs.

Is there something in the Constitution I missed about unions having a “right” to exist…and to collective barganing? Just cannot place the amendment where that exists. The decision to toss both Shiller’s out on their rear ends was too little too late. What I find most reprehensible, is Ms. Shillers allowing Mr. Shiller (no relation) to get away with the crap he did, cozying up to the MB and other Islamic extremists…the very extremists who would gladly carve up Ms. Shiller because of her heritage, and perhaps her religion. NPR should no longer be funded by the taxpayers of the United States. I wouldn’t care if it was all conservative all the time radio. We have no business being in the radio business. We also have no business contributing to a network which paid Ms. Shiller almost a half million dollars a year. Let NPR go out and continue to raise funds from whoever wants to listen to them. Just like commercial radio does. Our budget is bloated with ludicrous things like funding cowboy poetry. Yes, we have a 9% unemployment rate, and we are financing cowboy poetry, and Harry Reid, the pitiful human being he is, actually is standing in the Senate defending crap like that. Kevin, I too was a college professor…until I realized I would never really understand anything about the world ASSuming I had all the answers, like you, unless I spent time in other countries and actually did something (other than pontificate) to help preserve the freedom and liberties we enjoy as Americans. Now, having served 16 years as a Navy SEAL corpsman, having spent extensive time in 48 countries in the military and business, and having successfully run a couple of billion dollar companies, I do understand, most college professors, including you, don’t have a damn clue about what is really happening in the world, despite your desire to lecture and tell us you have all the answers. Take off your damn rose colored glasses and stop drinking the liberal kool-aid; our world IS being threatened by radical Muslims and democrats DO have their collective heads up their ass. Jim, you’re completely “on stream” in supporting Dr.Marlow’s comments and feeling and those similarly voiced by others who have be there, done it and survived whether in war or service as peace keepers.
Possible you must have experienced real fear, and seen the horrors that we have endured to understand what could happen in our back yard. I don’t believe that “professor childrers” and others who expound his beliefs had they “landed” and fought on Iwo (the only “effort” of that type I can speak with experience), or other arenas such as Marshall and his friends have done on the “home front”,
I’m not aware if Marshall still wares the “bullet he took” as a tie tack, as he might have lost it in chasing others as he was protecting citizens like childres. I am certain that the prof has no idea what an Oath is and how it must be Kept.
I am glad that the prof is instructing others than my Grand Children as if he were, he probably be receiving an “unhealthy visit” from and old man who has been there and done it, and would INSTRUCT IN An UNMERCIFUL MANNER the difference between the Left and the RIGHT. This is a common misconception! There is in no way any evidence that the military has protected the ‘inalienable’ rights of Americans to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There is no evidence that the military stands firm with dissenters who cry out when they see the government eliminate collective bargaining rights (which means the 1st amendment is being destroyed) … where is the military when people wish to pursue their own best interests???

Just musing on some of Marshall’s recent articles and positions taken…let me see if I get this right. Let’s shut down NPR because they are in bed with muslims, inter all muslims as a threat to national security, throw Obama out on his ear (large as they may be), even though the Supreme court and a number of lower courts, have refused to hear the “birther” legal action (again, apparently because he is a closet muslim). This paranoia would be funny if it wasn’t so “McCarthyesque”.
On the latter note, you may find it interesting that there was an article in today’s newspaper concerning a congressional committee that has been convened to look into the radicalization of Muslims in this country. I am sure that there is a certain faction subscribing to this blog that must be turning handsprings.
That being said, there was a section of the article talking about the fact that dozens of criminal cases have been made against radical Islamic factions in this country, based on tips from Muslim Americans. Gasp!! Is it possible that not all Muslims hate America and are not committed to her demise from within?? It can’t be!!
I know, this is part of a larger agenda. They provide this information to our officials as a diversion to hide an even more evil and sinister plot. I can seem them twirling their moustaches as we speak.
Excuse the tounge in cheek, but it occurs to me that Marshall is gaming all of us through manipulation to some degree. No doubt he feels strongly about these issues, but he also enjoys baiting us and then watching us twist in the wind. He is good at stirring the proverbial pot. As to Congressman King’s examination into the radicalization of Muslim’s in the U. S., maybe you ought to watch it on CSPAN before you comment one way or another. If there has been no radicalization here, how come almost all of the recent major terrorist attacks in our country have been at the hands of extremist Muslim’s? Am I missing something here? The hearings that I have watched so far, have been a plea to non-terrorist Muslims to get more involved. Obviously, they are NOT involved enough, or this crap wouldn’t be going on.
We are all entitled to our opinions, and I respect (though not agree with) all the view points written here. What I do not respect is HOW some of the comments have been made, a few of which have reminded me of three years in my nursing career when I worked as a psychiatric nurse at a local mental health facility here in Melbourne. I saw many clients, and their families, suffering partially because poor communication skills.
I believe that expressing one’s viewpoints (even angrily) is healthy; but some of the comments here are similar in nature to what I used to hear out of the mouths of manic clients who were on the verge of either inflicting harm on themselves or others.
As in my first reply to Marshall’s commentary, what I’ve written here is strictly my own perception.

David…I too have an extensive background as a cop. While I only did 25+ years on the job… I know that keeping an open mind on the job is critical, to solve a case in an objective way. However, you know full well is was not easy to remain objective, when dealing with some of the scummiest crimes…and YOU KNOW what I mean.
You are wrong, my brother “in law”, when you think these Muslim extremists and maniacs cannot take over here. It is their intent. It is their goal. They have been to state legislatures already, asking for Sharia law to be in effect in various states…(and Florida is one of those states). O’Keefe manipulated and edited the story to tell a different story than the story raw video tells. O’Keefe distorted the truth. When does a distortedtruth become a lie? Is it a violation of the publict trust to intentionally distort the truth and post it as news?

My comments are late in coming but other things kept me from responding sooner. I will be happy if NPR loses every penny of any government (i.e., public) funding. Way back during the early 1990s, wanting to be a good citizen while living in Miami, and also enjoying their various music programs, classical and other, I used to donate to WLRN. However, the more I listened to the NPR news programs which they carried throughout the day, the more disgusted I became, and I stopped donating anything. The same thing happened when we moved up to the Gainesville area in 1998. I offered donations to our local public radio station, WUFT, which basically comes through the Univ. of Florida, but I stopped donating again because of the NPR news, which was nauseating to listen to much of the time. In addition, WUFT dropped their classical music programming and expanded the NPR and other news coverage. Needless to say, I have not listened to WUFT for a looooooong time.
The liberal bias at NPR is very evident. In my opinion, some of the material which they reported was even meant to be inflammatory, and Ray Suarez was one of the more scurrilous commentators on their programming. Thankfully, we do have FOX News and several good conservative sources for balanced and alternative news and commentaries. It may tell us something that Air America could never get off the ground and be self-sustaining. We need to hope that the socialists and communists now in the White House, working behind closed doors as czars, and some in Congress do not silence free speech with a “fairness doctrine” or some other underhanded tactic.
My apologies Marshall, for this late response. You may be the only one who reads it but I had hoped that you would develop a blog on the NPR controversy, which continues to be an ongoing, hot topic on the various news programs.
Army Clarifies Purple Heart Rules For Soldiers. Acknowledging that commanders have sometimes wrongly denied the Purple Heart to soldiers who suffered battlefield concussions, the Army plans to issue new guidance to clarify when such recognition is warranted, Army officials said Wednesday. Gen. Peter Chiarelli, the Army’s second in command, said he reviewed the Army’s policies on the Purple Heart and called for the new guidelines as a result of an investigation by NPR and ProPublica. Charlie…I have come to the conclusion that arguing with him would require one to remove ones brain, to get on an equal footing. His

I am familiar with a family in Gaffney, SC with the same name. They are all inbred, and have a hard time putting a coherent sentence together. The entire family has an IQ close to 100. The family is large.
Can’t be sure if this miscreant is related to the others I am familiar with, but they sound alike. I am shocked that a man who is supposed to be a college professor in a small North Carolina town, would be teaching our youth with the obamareich mentality. I wonder if he wears his little obama brown shirt when he teaches?
